Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method, an electronic device, and a computer program product for storage management. According to an example, a method for storage management is provided, including: generating a to-be-stored target data stream based on a to-be-stored object, wherein the target data stream includes at least a part of the object, determining whether the target data stream matches at least one stored data stream that has been stored in a storage apparatus, wherein sizes of the target data stream and the at least one stored data stream depend on their respective content, and, if the target data stream does not match the at least one stored data stream, storing the target data stream in the storage apparatus. Therefore, the performance of storage management can be improved, and the storage costs can be reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for testing a condition of a battery. In one embodiment, a testing instruction for the battery is received from a controller of a device. In response to reception of the instruction, the battery is caused in a testing mode in which the battery and a power supply of the device concurrently provide power to the device, a first voltage provided by the battery being greater than a second voltage provided by the power supply. A condition of the battery is determined by monitoring an output current of the battery. Through the method and apparatus of the embodiments of the present disclosure, consumption for battery test may be reduced without a need of interrupting operations of the apparatus.

Abstract: Various processes for creating mirrored features are discussed herein as well as devices that include the mirrored features. One embodiment includes a button having a transparent layer and an opaque layer coupled to the transparent layer. A portion of the transparent layer extends through the opaque layer so that the portion of the transparent layer is flush with a back surface of the opaque layer and generally has a shape of a desired feature. The button also includes a reflective object positioned so that it may be seen through the transparent layer.

The fluorinated polymer includes first divalent units independently represented by formula and second divalent unit independently comprising a pendent cationic, anionic, amphoteric, or amine-oxide group or a pendent poly(alkyleneoxy) segment. The non-fluorinated polymer is R2O-(EO)p—(R3O)q-(EO)p—R2 or R2O—(R3O)q-(EO)p—(R3O)q—R2. A method of making the composition and methods of reducing the surface tension of a liquid and a method of treating a hydrocarbon-bearing formation are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method is provided for filtering unwanted packets in a communication system. The communication system includes a first network, a wireless network and at least one wireless communication device. An instruction to add an entry to a blocked list is received from a specific wireless device. The entry includes blocking criteria. A first packet is received from the first network. The first packet is destined for the specific wireless communication device. If the first packet exhibits the blocking criteria included in the blocked list, the first packet is discarded before it can be distributed by the wireless network.

Abstract: A system and method for displaying collective events for a group is disclosed herein. One method comprises receiving, by a reminder device, a plurality of events from a server. Each of the events can be from a user within a group, and the events can be addressed to the reminder device. The method can also comprise the step of displaying the events in a blog on a screen on the reminder device. The reminder device can be displayable in a location accessible by the group.

Abstract: The present invention proposes an improved beam structure of a dividing screen, which comprises two stand pillars, a connecting pillar, a beam, and a reinforcing part. A flat board is disposed in the beam. A gutter is disposed on a middle portion of the flat board. Two guide grooves are formed at two sides of the gutter, respectively. An outer edge of each guide groove forms a locking board to join a lamp. A locating portion is formed between the gutter and each guide groove so that a bottom end portion of the reinforcing part can be disposed thereon. Thereby, reinforcement effect can be enhanced, and delicacy and visual effect can be increased.
