  • Patent number: 7441355
Abstract: A trading card includes a front wall, a back wall, a bottom wall, and a top wall. The front wall retains a viewing lens. The back wall retains an image. The bottom wall extends between the front wall and the back wall. The top wall extends between the front wall and the back wall. Three of the walls are moveable relative to the other wall to move the trading card from a folded configuration to an unfolded configuration. In the folded configuration, the walls are substantially parallel to each other. Further, in the unfolded configuration, the front wall and the back wall are substantially parallel and spaced apart, and the bottom wall and the top wall are substantially parallel and spaced apart. Additionally, the image is viewable through the viewing lens when the trading card is in the unfolded configuration. Moreover, the image can be on a piece of film and the viewing lens can be a magnifying lens.

  • Publication number: 20070138746
Abstract: A trading card game (10) includes a first card (212) having only one immovable section (234). The game (10) also includes a second card (314) including a first section (352) and a second section (354). The second section (354) can be slidable relative to the first section (352) so that the second card (314) moves between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a portion of the second section (354) is unexposed to the players. In the second position, the portion of the second section (354) is exposed to the players, and influences the outcome of at least a portion of the game (10).

  • Publication number: 20060086019
Abstract: A collectible trading card (10) includes a card body (12) and a panel (14) that is movable relative to the card body (12) when the card body (12) is tilted. The card body (12) includes a first card image (26) and a second card image (28), and the panel (14) includes a panel image (42). The panel (14) is movable between a first position (38) in which the panel (14) covers the first card image (26), and a second position (40) in which the panel (14) covers the second card image (28). With this design, in the first position (38), the second card image (28) and the panel image (42) are visible. Alternatively, in the second position (40), the first card image (26) and the panel image (42) are visible.
