Abstract: Systems and methods for increasing the efficiency of vehicle platooning systems are described. In one aspect, data associated with two or more vehicles is received by a system. The data received by the system may be used by a system to track and analyze fleet locations, activities, and fuel efficiency among other attributes. In some examples, fleets management systems may provide users with granular information regarding hundreds of vehicles and information about their platooning systems. Systems and methods described herein also indicated how fleet management and analysis systems can be used to create safer and more fuel-efficient trips.
