    Abstract: An illumination panel for use in large-scale stationary or mobile applications is disclosed. The illumination panel includes a cover and a reflecting back surface held together by a supporting element such that a cavity is defined therebetween; a light source; fiber optic cable extending from the light source and into the cavity, wherein the fiber optic cable consists of a plurality of unsheathed optical fiber cores bundled together within a hollow clear plastic flexible PVC tube.
