A top panel is hingedly coupled to an end of a first one of the plurality of panels. The top panel includes a first section and a second section hingedly coupled to the first section. The first section has an aperture formed therein. The aperture is configured to receive a portion of a container therethrough. The second section has a recess formed in an edge thereof. A first flap is hingedly coupled to an end of a second one of the plurality of panels. A retaining tab is formed in in a least one of the first flap and the second one of the plurality of panels.

The outer shell is formed from a blank. A securement strip is formed on the top portion. A securement slit is formed on the top portion and configured to receive the securement strip.

Abstract: A container assembly for use in containing a food product includes a receptacle having a mouth defining an opening. The container assembly also includes a sleeve having a plurality of sidewalls forming a cavity and a cover engaging with the sidewalls and covering the cavity. The cavity at least partially retains the receptacle therein. The cover includes a rim defining an aperture for receiving the mouth of the receptacle therethrough.

Abstract: A bag-in-box beverage container and dispenser is provided, incorporating an outer shell fabricated preferably from corrugated paperboard material, and a plurality inner liquid containing bags, fabricated from a suitable plastic material. The carton includes ready assembly features, as well as at least one internal ramp structure for prompting flow of liquid toward a plurality of dispensing apertures disposed in the outer shell. A recessed handle structure is also provided, as are alternative embodiments of the internal ramp structure.
