    Abstract: A seat track assembly includes a lower track and an upper track slidably movable relative to the lower track. A latch is attached to the upper track and movable between a locked position wherein movement of the upper track is prevented, and an unlocked position wherein the upper track may be moved relative to the lower track. An actuation mechanism is provided and is movable between a first position wherein the latch is in the locked position, and a second position wherein the actuation mechanism engages the latch and urges the latch into the unlocked position.
