    Abstract: Systems and methods of a wireless communications system using signals not traditionally used for positioning purposes for positioning measurements in both uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) are described herein. A user equipment (UE) may generate a UE capability information message indicating one or more signal types that the LE can process for DL positioning measurements and/or that the UE can send for UL positioning measurements. The one or more signal types so indicated may include signals not traditionally used for positioning measurements. The UE may send, to the base station, the UE capability information message. The wireless communications system may then configure the base station and/or the UE to use such signal types with one or more positioning methods. In some embodiments, the base station may also indicate to the UE a subset of signals of an indicated type which should be processed for DL measurements/sent for UL measurements.

In some embodiments, determining PUCCH transmission repetition may include determining that an original PUCCH transmission overlaps a slot boundary between a first slot for PUCCH transmission and a second slot for PUCCH transmission, and configuring a PUCCH repetition of the original PUCCH transmission. The PUCCH repetition may include one or more symbols of the original PUCCH transmission and may be located in one or more slots other than the first slot and the second slot.

A wireless device receives first control information through a sidelink control channel specifying one or more first time slots for the wireless device to transmit a first acknowledgment message over a sidelink feedback channel. The wireless device transmits second control information through the sidelink control channel specifying one or more second time slots for the wireless device to receive a second acknowledgment message over the sidelink feedback channel. The first and second time slots at least partially overlap, and it is determined whether the first data packet or the second data packet has a higher priority. The acknowledgment message associated with the higher priority data packet is transmitted or received during at least a subset of the overlapping time slots.

Based on the set of slots, the UE may determine a corresponding RV for repetitions of the uplink communication associated with each slot. The slots with uplink transmissions within the uplink grant period may be non-contiguous. Repetitions of an uplink communication may be configured to be transmitted across multiple uplink grant periods, which may be triggered based on a threshold value associated with the repetitions.
