  • Publication number: 20150153152
Abstract: The present invention provides a magnetic device for measuring scour depth. The magnetic device comprises a plurality of scour detecting units which are buried in the sediment and disposed at intervals along the direction perpendicular to the surface of water. Each scour detecting unit comprises: one or more magnetic sources; and one or more magnetic detecting elements configured to be apart from the magnetic source for a predetermined distance. The magnetic detecting element is utilized to detect the magnetic field generated by the magnetic source. The scour depth and the position where scour occurs are determined according to electronic signals corresponding to the magnetic strength detected by the respective magnetic detecting elements of the scour detecting units. The magnetic device of the present invention has many advantages including low cost, high efficiency, and such a device is easily deployed.

  • Publication number: 20110282831
Abstract: A device including a virtual drive system is provided. An image file can be identified as an ordinary physical disk drive via the device. The device includes a storage unit, an image management unit, and an operating-system interface. The storage unit is configured to store at least one image file. The image management unit includes an image management program which can manage the image files to be selected. The operating-system interface is connected by electrical signals with an operating-system apparatus and is controlled by the image management program to send a controlling signal to the operating-system apparatus. Therefore, the operating-system apparatus can identify as many physical disk drives as the corresponding selected image files.

  • Publication number: 20020114449
Abstract: A modular multiplier and an encryption/decryption processor using the modular multiplier, which is mainly applied in a chip to have the needs of small size and faster operation. In the modular multiplier, Montgomery algorithm is realized, the operand is divided into the fixed-length data, and the desired result is provided by the iterative calculation. In the algorithm, two recursive structures include the multiplication operation first and the addition operation later. By the multiplexer to data path's choice, the desired result of modular multiplication can be calculated by a single data path at different time points.

  • Patent number: 5280653
Abstract: A toilet-seat flush-valve operating device has an energy transceiver, a connecting portion and a control portion. When adapted to conventional toilet equipment, the device serves to raise and lower the toilet seat automatically. If necessary, a flush-valve opening arrangement is mounted between the energy transceiver and the flush valve so that the device also operates to automatically open the flush valve at the appropriate time. The toilet seat stays at a slightly forwardly inclined vertical position and always tends to fall under its own weight. When an outside force is applied to the control portion, which is capable of transmitting the outside force to the energy transceiver, comprised of a spring and/or a dead weight, the energy transceiver is driven and releases the toilet seat from the control of a linkage mechanism, thereby permitting the seat to fall under its own weight.
