    Abstract: A slidable dual-axis hinge assembly has a sliding leaf and a stationary leaf. The sliding leaf has two detents and an outer pivot formed on a pivoting end of the sliding leaf and pivotally mounting the sliding leaf in a cover of a portable electronic device. The stationary leaf has an inner pivot formed on a proximal end of the stationary leaf and pivotally mounts the stationary leaf in a base of the portable electronic device, and has two slide brackets engaging the detents and defining two sliding grooves oppositely therein and being mounted around the side edges of the sliding leaf to allow the sliding leaf to slide relative to the stationary leaf. Thereby, the cover of the portable electronic device pivots relative to the base in two different positions.

The moving leaf is mounted on the bottom of the stationary leaf, sliding and turning relative to the stationary leaf and has a top surface. The spring is attached to the top of the stationary leaf and has a stationary end and a moving end. The pivot pin assembly connects the stationary leaf and the moving leaf and allows the moving leaf to slide relative to the stationary leaf. The guide pin assembly extends through the moving end of the spring, the stationary leaf and the moving leaf to connect the stationary leaf, the spring and the moving leaf and allows the moving leaf to slide and turn relative to the stationary leaf.

The receiving member is fixed to the first connecting member, and defines a receiving space for receiving the at least one sliding member. A sidewall of the receiving space defines a groove. The sliding member is fixed to the shaft, and rotated together with the shaft. A protrusion extends from a circumference of each of the at least one sliding member. When the sliding member rotates relative to the receiving member in the receiving space, the protrusion is engaged with or disengaged from the groove.

    Abstract: A quick release strap connector connects a strap detachably to an electronic device and comprises a cylinder, a knob, a latch bar and a spring. The cylinder is hollow, holds a strap and has an open end, a closed end and a sidewall. The knob is mounted rotatably against the open end of the cylinder. The latch bar is attached to the knob, is mounted through and protrudes from the cylinder and has a pivot latch. The latch is mounted in a slot in the electronic device and rotated to attach the connector to the electronic device. The spring is mounted around the latch bar between the closed end of the cylinder and the knob. The present invention will allow someone to attach or remove the strap from the electronic device quickly and easily, which makes using the strap more convenient.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a slide latch for electronic devices to slide the cover open or closed relative to the base of the electronic device and has a base, a sliding latch, a spring and a rotating latch. The base has two longitudinal sides formed parallelly on and protruding from the base. Two turning protrusions are formed parallelly on and protruding from the two longitudinal sides and each has a guide edge, an inclined edge and an apex. A sliding latch is mounted slidably on the base. A spring is mounted on the base, which abuts the sliding latch. A rotating latch is mounted rotatably on the sliding latch, between the two guide edges of the two turning protrusions of the base. The present invention allows the cover to open or close relative to the base without mounting hinges on the electronic device.
