  • Publication number: 20240202299
Abstract: A method for identity verification is provided. At least some initial low-sensitivity information about a person is stored in a database. The method includes the following stages. The identity of the person is obtained. The initial low-sensitivity information associated with the person is searched for in the database based on the identity of the person. Biological signal data from the person are obtained according to the data category of the initial low-sensitivity information associated with the person. The biological signal data from the person are sampled and dimension reduction is performed to generate real-time low-sensitivity information associated with the person. The data category and a data form for comparing the real-time low-sensitivity information with the initial low-sensitivity information are determined. The real-time low-sensitivity information and the initial low-sensitivity information corresponding to the data category and the data form are displayed graphically.

  • Patent number: 8424627
Abstract: A wheelchair including a seat body and at least one wheel module disposed at a bottom of the seat body is provided. The wheel module includes a motor, at least one wheel, and a transmission unit coupled between the motor and the wheel. The transmission unit has at least one one-way bearing. The motor outputs a first rotating moment and a second rotating moment with opposite directions to the transmission unit. The one-way bearing transmits one of the first rotating moment and the second rotating moment to the wheel to drive the wheel to roll, such that the seat body is in linear motion, or so the wheel module rotates relative to the seat body in the directions of the first or the second rotating moments. The shafts of the first and the second rotating moments are perpendicular to the rotating shaft of the wheel.

  • Patent number: 8244487
Abstract: A measuring system for tensile or compressive tests is provided. A set of mirrors includes a first plane mirror and a second plane mirror. The angles between the first plane mirror and the first axis and between the second plane mirror and the first axis are both a specific included angle, such that the first and second plane mirrors are symmetrical to the first axis. An object to be tested is disposed between the set of mirrors and an image capturing apparatus. Two extremities of the object have the first and second labels, respectively. The first and second mirror images of the first and second labels are generated through the first and second plane mirrors, respectively. After the object is tensed or compressed, the image capturing apparatus obtains the displacement of the first and second labels according to the shifting of the first and second mirror images.

  • Patent number: 8179852
Abstract: A base station (BS), a subordinated station (SS) and the transmission methods thereof for use in a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) network are provided. The BS stores resource allocation information about the MIMO network and an SS list, and generate a super frame according to the resource allocation information and the SS list. The super frame comprises a pilot pattern which comprises a plurality of pilots and data. The BS and SS both considers the pilot pattern as an identifier of the SS. When there are communications occurred between the BS and the SS, the BS/SS will confirm whether the pilot pattern of the super frame matches the identifier of the SS to reduce interference from other stations in the MIMO network.
