    Abstract: In some implementations, a hard drive carrier is configured to couple and decouple a hard drive to/from a chassis (e.g., motherboard). The hard drive carrier can receive and house a hard drive in a base securing portion, the base securing portion adapted to slide and tilt in relation to a base of the hard drive carrier. The hard drive carrier can include a pivoting lever comprising a handle that can be used to couple and decouple the hard drive from the motherboard. Using the handle to pivot the lever into an open position causes the hard drive to tilt upwards to decouple from the chassis and facilitate insertion or removal of the hard drive to/from the hard drive carrier. Pivoting the lever into a closed position causes the hard drive to lie flat and couple to the chassis.

    Abstract: A server device includes a tray having a lug, a hard disk unit removably disposed on the tray, and a handle pivotally connected to two opposite sides of the hard disk unit. The lug is formed with a slot thereon to define two inner edges opposite to each other. The handle is provided with a protrusion arranged in the slot. When the handle is rotated towards one end of the hard disk unit, the protrusion is rotated along with the handle to contact and push one of the inner edges of the lug, such that the hard disk unit is restrained by the tray after the hard disk unit is slid in relative to the tray.

    Abstract: A server includes a chassis, a main tray and a hard disk drive (HDD). The main tray is slidably connected to the chassis and is capable of pulling out of the chassis or pushing into the chassis along a first direction. The main tray includes an accommodating slot and a sub-tray. The sub-tray is slidably disposed inside the accommodating groove and when the main tray is pulled out of the chassis, the sub-tray can be slid along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction between an expanded position and a retracted position relative to the chassis. When the sub-tray at the expanded position, the hardware can be taken from the sub-tray or put on the sub-tray.

    Abstract: A window-type multi-chip semiconductor package is provided. A first chip and a second chip are mounted on a surface of a substrate formed with an opening, and a third chip is stacked on the first and second chips, wherein a plurality of bonding wires formed through the opening are used to electrically interconnect the chips and electrically connect the chips to the substrate. The chips are encapsulated by a first encapsulant formed on the surface of the substrate, and a second encapsulant is formed on an opposing surface of the substrate for encapsulating the bonding wires. With the chips being mounted on the same surface of the substrate, conductive elements such as bond pads formed on the chips are arranged toward the same direction and facilitate shortening of the bonding wires, thereby enhancing electrical transmission and performances for the semiconductor package.
