    Abstract: A video player transmits a first video signal to a display device through a first connection group. At least one first output terminal outputs the first video signal. At least one second output terminal outputs the first video signal. A controller determines whether the first output terminal is coupled to the display device through the first connection group and determines whether the second output terminal is coupled to the display device through the first connection group. The controller only provides the first video signal to the first output terminal when the first output terminal is coupled to the display device through the first connection group. The controller only provides the first video signal to the second output terminal when the second output terminal is coupled to the display device through the first connection group.
