  • Publication number: 20240136117
Abstract: A multi-phase coupled inductor includes a first iron core, a second iron core, and a plurality of coil windings. The first iron core includes a first body and a plurality of first core posts. The plurality of first core posts are connected to the first body. The second iron core is opposite to the first iron core. The second iron core and the first body are spaced apart from each other by a gap. The plurality of coil windings wrap around the plurality of first core posts, respectively. Each of the coil windings has at least two coils.

  • Publication number: 20110244626
Abstract: A method of forming solar cell includes the following steps. A substrate having a first region and a second region is provided. A dopant source layer is then formed on the substrate. A laser beam is used to locally irradiate the dopant source layer corresponding to the first region to locally diffuse the dopants of the dopant source layer on the first region downward into the substrate. The laser beam also changes the surface property of the substrate in the first region to form a visible patterned mark. The dopant source layer is then removed, and a patterned electrode is formed on the first region of the substrate using the visible patterned mark as an alignment mark.

  • Patent number: 7880869
Abstract: A calibration apparatus and method for optical system assembly is provided, applicable to a finite conjugate optical system to determine the optimal image-forming positions of the light source and the focus object lens of the finite conjugate optical system. The apparatus includes an external light source, a low magnification image-forming optical system, an electrical control system and a monitor. When the parallel beam generated by the external light source is parallel to the optical axis of the finite conjugate optical system, the low magnification image-forming optical system is used to magnify the two focal spots formed by the external light source and the internal light source of the finite conjugate optical system to be calibrated. Finally, by adjusting the related position of the focus object lens or the internal light source of the finite conjugate optical system, the optimal relative positions between the light source and the focus object lens of the finite conjugate optical system can be found.

  • Publication number: 20080168518
Abstract: In a method of reducing upstream ingress noise in cable data system, downstream management messages containing information about user group data uploading time and channel frequency are broadcasted by a headend of the cable data system. The broadcasted downstream management messages are monitored, so as to determine an upstream channel connection time schedule for the user groups. Each user group is connected to an upstream channel of the headend only at a data uploading time scheduled for that user group. As a result, ingress noise existed in the user group will be uploaded to the headend only when the user group is connected to the headend. Therefore, accumulation of upstream ingress noise at the headend is effectively reduced, and the headend network can maintain good signal quality to ensure best network connection.

  • Publication number: 20030107980
Abstract: The invention is a multiple wavelength optical pickup head. It contains at least three laser beam generating units for generating laser beams with different wavelengths, a beam guiding unit installed on the optical path of the pickup head to guide the propagation of the laser beams, and a photo-detector that converts light signals into the corresponding electrical signals. The beam guiding unit includes a diffractive optical element and a convergent objective lens. After the laser beam generating units send out laser beams, the beam guiding unit leads them to the diffractive optical element so that the laser beams have different diffraction angles and effects. Through the focus of the convergent objective lens, the laser beams are converged to the data surfaces of optical recording media and reflected to the photo-detector, retrieving data from at least three kinds of optical recording media each with a kind of data storage densities.

  • Patent number: 6369377
Abstract: The present invention discloses a multiple-beam holographic optical pick-up head, which has the advantages of the multiple-beam optical pick-up head and the holographic optical pick-up head and can increase the light usage efficiency. This invention uses the property that a polarized diffractive optical element can generate different optical effects for laser beam with different polarizations and places a polarized multiple-beam grating and polarized hologram on the optical path for splitting the incident light toward the disc into multiple reading beams by the multiple-beam grating. The returning laser beams reflected from the disc are diffracted and diverted by the hologram to reach a photodetector. Both the incident and reflective beams are diffracted once only; thus the light usage efficiency can be increased.
