    Abstract: A device and a method for processing a waited display picture of an OLED display device are provided. The device includes a block dividing unit for dividing a waited display picture into multiple blocks; an average grayscale determining unit for determining an average grayscale value of each block; a high grayscale determining unit for determining a block having an average grayscale value greater than a preset threshold value as a high grayscale block; an adjacent grayscale determining unit for determining an adjacent grayscale value of each high grayscale block; and a regulation unit for adjusting grayscale values of pixels of each high grayscale block. The present invention adjusts grayscale values using a block as a unit. Besides, the difference of luminous efficiency or light transmittance of different color components is also considered so as to effectively improve the life of the OLED display device.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a drive method and a drive device of a liquid crystal display, and the drive method comprises: receiving an image to display; implementing color detection to the image pixels of the image to display to determine a predetermined color pixel; implementing adjustment to the original gray scale values of the respective primary color components of the predetermined color pixel to make that a difference between a relatively higher original gray scale value and a relatively lower original gray scale value before adjustment becomes larger after adjustment for the same predetermined color pixel; implementing color washout compensation to the image to display; driving the liquid crystal panel to show the image to display after the color washout compensation. With the aforesaid arrangement, the present invention can reduce the color washout under large view angle to promote the display effect of the large view angle.

The method is simple, with fewer calculations and faster operating speed, the cost can be effectively reduced.

    Abstract: One or more electrostatic discharge (ESD) control circuit are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, an ESD control circuit has first and second trigger transistors, first and second ESD transistors, and first and second feedback transistors. The ESD transistors provide ESD current paths for ESD current generated during an ESD event. The first and second trigger transistors are on during normal operation to maintain the ESD transistors in an off state. During an ESD event, the first and second transistors are turned off to enable the first and second ESD transistors to provide ESD current paths. The first and second feedback transistors turn on during an ESD event to reinforce the on state of the ESD transistors and to reinforce the off state of the trigger transistors. In this way, the ESD control circuit stably provides multiple ESD current paths to discharge ESD current.
