Abstract: The present invention relates to a bed extender for extending and enlarging the carrying capacity of the bed of a pickup truck and some SUV pick-up style vehicles. The extender comprises of a tailgate containing two lateral side panels and a foldable bottom panel. The tailgate is pivotally attached on a U-shape frame which is fixed on supporting beams. The supporting beams are connected to the vehicles main beams underneath the vehicle bed through brackets and can horizontally move out and move in when needed.
