    Abstract: An apparatus for scanning a photograph with PictBridge capability is provided, which includes a light source, an image sensor, a signal converter, a PictBridge encoder, and a universal serial bus (USB) controller. The light source projects a scanning light onto an object to be scanned. Upon contacting with the object to be scanned, the scanning light is reflected as a reflected light. The image sensor receives the reflected light and then transmits an image signal to the signal converter to be converted into a digital image data. The digital image signal is encoded by the PictBridge encoder to a direct-printing code. Finally, the USB controller encodes the direct-printing code into a universal serial bus signal and transmits to a printer via a USB wire, so as to print the image by the printer.

    Abstract: An oil pump with improved structure comprises a motor casing, a motor cap, and an oil pump. The motor cap comprises a through hole, and is used for the enclosure of a motor in cooperation with the motor casing. The interior of the motor is assemblingly provided with a rotating shaft passing at one end thereof through the through hole of the motor cap and an oil pump joint. The oil pump comprises the oil pump joint, a cap body, and a rotor, the oil pump joint is projectingly provided on and integratedly formed with the motor cap. The rotor of the oil pump is assemblingly provided on the rotating shaft of the motor. In this case, neither the need for the connection or additional manufacture and assembly of a rotating shaft of the oil pump, nor the problem resulted from the interconnection may occur. Moreover, the concentricity may be assured, and the cost may be reduced significantly as well.

    Abstract: A universal printing method for printing out non-image file documents is executed by installing a universal printer driver on a smart phone or a PDA that supports PictBridge, and includes activating an application program and opening a non-image file document, converting the non-image file document into at least one image file through the driver and an OS rendering module, and finally transmitting the at least one image file to a printing device through PictBridge. The method permits conversion of multiple pages of non-image file documents that originally cannot be printed using PictBridge to image files for printing by a printing device supporting PictBridge.

The flying wing rotation mechanism of a micro air vehicle includes a flapping arm and a flying wing. The flapping arm is connected to the detent member, and swings as the power module drives the detent member. An end of the flying wing is pivoted to the flapping arm. When the flapping arm swings, the flying wing swings with the flapping arm in sync. When swing direction of the flapping arm changes, the flying wing rotates relative to an axial direction of the flapping arm.
