  • Patent number: 9071079
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a power supply system. The power supply system includes a plurality of power supply devices connected in parallel. Output terminals of the plurality of power supply devices are coupled to a common supply line. Each of the plurality of power supply devices includes a DC-to-DC converter, a transformer, a switching control device, a rectifying device, and a judging device. The judging device receives a feedback voltage, an error signal and a second AC voltage to determine whether the power supply device is normal, wherein the feedback voltage is a voltage division of an output voltage on the common supply line, the error signal is an output of the switching control device, and the second AC voltage is retrieved from a second winding set of the transformer.

  • Patent number: 8368249
Abstract: Disclosed is a power supply unit provided with AC/DC voltage detection and a power supply system incorporating such power supply unit. The power control unit of the power supply unit can manipulate the first stage power circuit and the bypass switch thereof according to the form and magnitude of the first voltage which is inputted to the power supply unit in order to boost the overall operating efficiency. When the inventive power supply unit is applied to a high-level DC power supply system, the problem that the power supply unit can not output a rated output voltage due to an insufficient DC first voltage can be avoided.

Date of Patent: February 5, 2013
    Assignee: Delta Electronics, Inc.
    Inventors: Ching-Horng Wu, Chia-Tung Peng, Wei-Hsin Wen, Yu-Hung Huang
  • Patent number: 8299773
Abstract: A power supply comprises an input voltage detector that detects a drop in input voltage that corresponds to an input voltage loss. A power converter is coupled to the input voltage detector. The power converter, which may be a boost converter or a power factor correction converter, has a switching device that is actuated in accordance with a duty cycle. A duty cycle adjuster is responsive to detection of the drop in the input voltage to adjust the duty cycle of the switching device in order to limit an input current surge through the switching device below a desired level after the input voltage returns.
