  • Publication number: 20240088293
Abstract: An n-type metal oxide semiconductor transistor includes a gate structure, two source/drain regions, two amorphous portions and a silicide. The gate structure is disposed on a substrate. The two source/drain regions are disposed in the substrate and respectively located at two sides of the gate structure, wherein at least one of the source/drain regions is formed with a dislocation. The two amorphous portions are respectively disposed in the two source/drain regions. The silicide is disposed on the two source/drain regions, wherein at least one portion of the silicide overlaps the two amorphous portions.

  • Patent number: 8769178
Abstract: The invention provides a shock test device suitable for an expansion slot of a computer system. The shock test device includes a mainboard, a structure unit and a detection module. The mainboard has a connecting finger electrically connected to the expansion slot. The structure unit is disposed at the mainboard for simulating a weight and a supporting structure. The detection module is coupled to at least one pin of the connecting finger for detecting a touch condition between the connecting finger and the expansion slot so as to produce a warning signal. In this way, the shock test device can detect whether or not a link plug-in in a host computer (for example, the link between the expansion slot and the connecting finger portion of the shock test device) is disconnected due to shocking or unseen disconnected and then reconnected again.

  • Patent number: 7304470
Abstract: A fan operating status monitoring system includes a detecting module to detect pulsation currents generated by the rotation of a fan, and further convert the detected pulsation currents to voltage signals, thereby allowing a differential magnifying module, a first processing module, and a control module to process the pulse wave signals in orders to measure the rotation speeds of the fan. Also, the second processing module and the control module can process the pulsation electric current signals so as to calculate the working currents of the fan, thereby expanding the measuring range of the rotation speeds of the fan, and at the same time, effectively controlling the operating status of the fan.

  • Publication number: 20070268066
Abstract: A method and device for stably controlling a loading voltage of a remote terminal device can be coupled to an electronic system such as a computer mainframe for stably controlling a remote loading voltage outputted by a power supply in the computer mainframe. When the power supply of the electronic system outputs a voltage to the remote terminal device, the loading voltage value actually received by the terminal device is continuously detected, and this detected loading voltage value is then compared with the predetermined rated loading voltage value; if the detected loading voltage is less than the rated loading voltage, then a loading current outputted to the terminal device is increased until the loading voltage at the terminal device is equal to the rated loading voltage. This allows a constant loading voltage to be received by the remote terminal device even over long conductive lines, so that the loading voltage will not be attenuated over distance.

  • Publication number: 20070085527
Abstract: A fan operating status monitoring system is proposed and implemented by employing a detecting module to detect pulsation currents generated by the rotation of a fun, and further convert the detected pulsation currents to voltage signals, thereby allowing a differential magnifying module, a first processing module, and a control module to process the pulse wave signals in orders so as to measure the rotation speeds of the fan. Also, the second processing module and the control module of the invention can process said pulsation electric current signals in orders so as to calculate the working currents of the fan, thereby expanding the measuring range of the rotation speeds of the fan, and at the same time, the invention can effectively control the operating status of the fan to ensure working reliability of the fun. The invention, therefore, offers advantages over the prior art.

  • Publication number: 20070050173
Abstract: A computer-controlled fan unit reliability testing system is proposed, which is designed for the purpose of performing a computer-controlled fully-automatic reliability testing procedure on a batch of fan units, and which is characterized by the use of computer automation to perform a fully-automatic reliability testing procedure on the fan units under testing at the same time, and the capability of concurrently measuring a set of operational characteristics, including ampere consumption of each individual fan unit and the total ampere consumption of all of the batch of fan units, fan fault (FF) signal of each individual fan unit, and revolution signal of each individual fan unit, which can be finally automatically compiled into an electronic-file testing result report. This feature allows the testing procedure to be fully-automatic and more convenient and time-saving, and is therefore much more efficient than prior art.
