Abstract: A projection device includes multiple optical fiber mounting mechanisms. Each of the optical fiber mounting mechanisms includes an optical fiber extending along a first direction as an axis direction, a signal circuit extending along the first direction, and a mounting structure. The optical fiber includes an engaging section. The mounting structure surrounds the engaging section of the optical fiber and the signal circuit. The mounting structure includes an installation portion extending radially relative to the first direction. The installation portion includes a surface and multiple elements exposed from the surface. The surface includes a normal direction parallel with the first direction. A first length of the engaging section of the optical fiber protruding from the surface of the installation portion is longer than lengths of the elements protruding from the surface.

Abstract: A system and method for managing user identity information in a multi-tenant environment can perform operations including assigning a first address from an address pool for a first user session, storing first information for the first user session in the memory linked to the first address, and assigning a second address from the address pool for a second user session. The operations can also include storing second information for the second user session in the memory linked to the second address from the address pool for the second user session if the second address does not match a third address from the address pool for a third session in the memory, and forwarding communication data for the second user session after the second information has been stored.

Abstract: A digital certificate associating a unique identifier for a computer-based appliance with an authentication key pair for that appliance is obtained from a certificate authority using a different, manufacturing key pair for the appliance. The manufacturing key pair may be generated by the appliance at or about its time of manufacture. The public key portion of the manufacturing key pair along with the unique identifier for the appliance may be provided via secure means to the certificate authority prior to the request for the digital certificate concerning the authentication key pair. Eventually, the digital certificate associated with the authentication key pair may be used by the appliance when joining a network, as part of a one-way or two-way authentication process.

Abstract: The present invention provides for efficient and reliable IP addressing in redundant telephony modules where an active one of the redundant modules must communicate using a common IP address. An addressing methodology is provided wherein an active module in a node assumes and uses an active IP address for the node. The inactive module may assume and use an inactive IP address for communication directed to the inactive module within the node.
