Abstract: Certain aspects of an apparatus and method for gesture recognition using a two Dimensional (2D) imaging device may include capturing a first image of a hand in a first position, capturing a second image of the hand in a second position, generating an image mask for indicating the movement of the arm from the first position to the second position, determining an elbow position corresponding to the hand based on the image mask and estimating the change in depth of the hand from the first position to the second position based on the determined elbow position.

Abstract: The invention provides method and apparatus and remote control for annular-selector based television interaction. The method includes receiving rotation information of an annular selector sent by a remote control provided with the annular selector; obtaining a rotational displacement of a menu or cursor according to the rotation information; redrawing the menu or cursor on a display interface according to the rotational displacement, so as to control the menu or cursor to rotate according to the rotational displacement; and receiving a confirmation signal sent by the remote control, and selecting an option, corresponding to a position where the cursor is, on the menu. For operational designs of the annular selector, a menu interface is presented in an annular manner, and annularly rotational animations is adopted, so that an action of the user match a corresponding display on the television, thereby improving a human-computer interaction experiences.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and products for backing up an image in a computing system that includes computer memory, including: receiving, by a backup image manager, an image for one or more computing devices within the computing system; identifying, by the backup image manager, available protected computer memory within the computing system, wherein the available protected computer memory within the computing system is restricted from alteration by a user of the computing system; slicing, by the backup image manager, the image into a plurality of image slices; and storing, by the backup image manger, one or more of the image slices in the available protected computer memory.

Abstract: A multi-band multi-antenna system and a communication device thereof are provided. The multi-band multi-antenna system includes at least one ground, two antenna units, a coupling conductor line and a grounding conductor line. Both of the two antenna units have at least one conductor portion, a low-pass filtering portion and an extending conductor portion. Each antenna unit generates at least one higher and lower operating bands. The low-pass filtering portion is electrically coupled between the conductor portion and the extending conductor portion, and effectively decreases dependent relationship between the higher and lower operating bands. The coupling conductor line is disposed nearby the two antenna units and has a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion. The grounding conductor line is disposed between the two antenna units and connected to the ground.

Abstract: A processing method for an earphone includes receiving a sense signal sent by a proximity sensor. A distance between an earphone and an ear corresponding to the earphone is obtained according to the sense signal and compared with a first preset threshold. Within a first preset time, if the distance is greater than the first preset threshold, an audio playing program is closed or an earphone channel of the earphone is closed.

Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating a semiconductor structure. The method includes providing a semiconductor substrate, forming an epitaxial layer on a top surface of the semiconductor substrate and having a predetermined thickness, and forming a plurality of trenches in the epitaxial layer. The trenches are formed in the epitaxial layer and have a predetermined depth, top width, and bottom width. Further, the method includes performing a first trench filling process to form a semiconductor layer inside of the trenches using a mixture gas containing at least silicon source gas and halogenoid gas, stopping the first trench filling process when at least one trench is not completely filled, and performing a second trench filling process, different from the first trench filling process, to fill the plurality of trenches completely.

The ground is disposed on a dielectric substrate, and the radiating portion includes at least one signal source and at least one closed conductor loop. The closed conductor loop has a first coupling conductor portion and a second coupling conductor portion, and the closed conductor loop has a plurality of bending portions to form a three-dimensional structure, and a first coupling gap is formed between the first and the second coupling conductor portions. The closed conductor loop further has a feeding portion and a short-circuit portion to form a second coupling gap between them. The feeding portion is electrically connected or coupled to the at least one signal source, and the short-circuit portion is electrically connected or coupled to the ground.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of SiGe epitaxy with high germanium concentration, a germanium concentration can be increased by reducing the percentage of silane and germane during introduction silane and germane. With the same flow of germanium source, the germanium concentration is significantly increased as the germane flow is reduced, therefore a defect-free SiGe epitaxial film with a germanium atomic percentage of 25˜35% can be obtained. The present invention can balance epitaxial growth rate and germanium doping concentration by using existing equipments to obtain a high germanium concentration, and the epitaxial growth rate is only reduced a little, which can keep the SiGe epitaxial layer having no defect to meet the requirements of devices and can maintain sufficient throughput.

Abstract: Verifying text translation in a program including obtaining a first program integrated information (PII) file and a second PII file of text in the program. An original page is generated by using the first PII file. Document object model (DOM) tree information of the original page is obtained. For each text unit in the original page: identification information corresponding to a first text unit in the first PII file is extracted; a second text unit is identified in the second PII file using the extracted identification information and a relationship between the identification information and the second text unit; and the first text unit is replaced in the DOM tree with the second text unit. A new page is generated using the text units from the second PII file.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for capturing graphic user interface resource of an application, which method comprises: loading resource files in which visible text data in graphic user interfaces of the application are stored; duplicating the resource files; adding identification information to each visible text data unit in the resource files, the identification information being used to uniquely identify each visible text data unit in each of the resource files; capturing at least one panel of graphic user interface according to the graphic user interfaces of the application; and saving the duplicated resource files and the at least one captured panel as the graphic user interface resource of the application into an intermediate file.

A first pivot acts between a first and second upper die so that the second upper die can be pivotally adjusted on the upper platen relative to the first upper die. A die insert is provided having an upper die insert and a lower die insert that define upper and lower insert cavities that connect together the first and second cavity portions of the upper die set and the lower die set. Abstract: A permeable electrochemical reactive biobarrier used to prohibit the diffusion of groundwater contaminated by organic compounds is disclosed. The permeable electrochemical reactive biobarrier includes at least a conductive fiber layer and at least a cathode. The conductive fiber layer is applied with a proper voltage, and the cathode is disposed at one side of the conductive fiber layer. Herein, the conductive fiber layer can be used as the electron acceptor for respiration occurred by local soil microorganisms, which grow on the surface of the conductive fiber layer. Accordingly, the biodegradation of organic compounds can be continued without additional oxidants.

The method includes performing a first etch through a first dielectric layer to form a first via and a second dielectric layer, filling the first via with a BARC material to form a first BARC layer, and performing a second etch on the first BARC layer to form a second BARC layer. The second etch has a first etch rate in a first peripheral region of the second BARC layer and a second etch rate in a first central region of the second BARC layer. The first peripheral region is located around a sidewall of the first via, and the first central region is located around a center of the first via. The first etch rate is larger than the second etch rate, and the first peripheral region is located higher than the first central region. A first top surface of the second BARC layer has substantially a first convex shape. Additionally, the method includes performing a third etch through a second dielectric layer to form a trench and a third BARC layer.
