  • Patent number: 7420374
Abstract: This invention provides an electronic device that has a battery with a power storage unit and a display module, a power detector and a display control module. The power storage unit is for storing electrical power and the display module is placed on the surface of the battery. The power detector is selectively coupled to the battery, and generates a remaining power signal after detecting the remaining power in the battery. The remaining power signal is used to control the display control module. When the power detector is selectively coupled to the battery, the display module shows the current remaining power in response to the action of the display control module. When the power detector is separated from the battery, the display module is essentially capable of maintaining the showing of remaining power.

  • Patent number: 7058411
Abstract: A wireless communication positioning method for determining the position of a mobile station when connecting to a base station. The coordinates of the mobile station are estimated according to the geomagnetic field strength measured by the mobile station, and the distance between the base station and the mobile station. The present invention further provides a method for solving the problem of acquiring two or more possible coordinates using the positioning method. The correct coordinates of the mobile station are determined by relocating the mobile station using the same method when the mobile station moves to another position aided by a direction of movement detected by the mobile station.

  • Publication number: 20040266487
Abstract: Voice signal processing method and system. The communication system comprises a first communication device and a second communication device. First, second voice signals and codes corresponding thereto are stored in a second memory unit of the second communication device. Next, the first communication device transmits a first control code and a first voice signal to the second communication device. After a second voice signal corresponding to the first control code is selected from the control codes in the second memory unit, the second communication device synthesizes the first and the second voice signals to yield a third voice signal.

  • Publication number: 20020095280
Abstract: There is disclosed a programmable memory emulator capable of emulating unspecified memory devices. A smart I/O interface is provided in the emulator for being programmed to conform to the interface specifications of different memory devices. An emulation look-ahead memory is employed to replace conventional two-port RAM. Furthermore, the memory of a host is utilized to emulate the functionality of system memory. Thus, the memory emulator is able to emulate various kinds of memory device, and the memory space is only restricted by the host.
