Abstract: A method for the computer-supported transformation of structured documents into a modified, structured document which can be read and/or processed via an IVR browser. Here, an analysis of a source code which forms the structured document is carried out with a transformation of the structured document into a modified, structured document using a source code which can be read by the IVR browser, a modification of the source code of the structured document being carried out in order to define a speech-based menu structure. In the case of cross-references to a telephone subscriber number, a transformation of the source code in the modified, structured document is carried out in order to support a communications connection in conjunction with a communications device.

Abstract: A method for exchanging information through speech via a packet-oriented network having a WWW Server connected via the packet-oriented network, an information host computer which is connected to the packet-oriented network, and a speech-based browser which is connected to the information host computer. Here, a structured document which is generated with a format-based Editor is transmitted to the WWW Server and stored there with an access information item. When structured documents are accessed via the speech-based browser when the access information is present, transfer takes place to the information host computer in which an analysis of the structured document is carried out. After analysis has taken place, instructions for graphic structuring into instructions for an audible output form are modified in the structured document.

Abstract: A multimedia-based reporting system utilizes a command interpreter and an annotation input interpreter to receive inputs from a user and forwards the inputs to an open report handler, a save report handler, a delete current report handler, a mail report handler, an attach media handler, a print report handler, a static annotation handler, a dynamic annotation handler including recording and playback and an annotation on annotation handler. The static annotation handler allows the user to add drawings and text to the report. The dynamic annotation handler allows the user to record/playback annotations from the annotation input interpreter. The annotation on annotation handler allows the user to record a session of dynamic annotation based on a segment of existent dynamic annotation.
