  • Patent number: 8744605
Abstract: A handheld device workout coach system includes: at least a handheld device installed therein with a coaching program and having a near field communication (NFC) module and a ID recognition data; at least a fitness device having a master control unit, a near field communication (NFC) module corresponding in position and function to the master control unit, and a platform; and a server stored therein with workout prescriptions downloadable by the at least a handheld device and available to the coaching program. The master control unit has an equipment recognition data. The handheld device and the fitness device get connected by near field communication (NFC) technology as soon as the handheld device is positioned on the platform of the fitness device and recognize each other to thereby execute the coaching program instantly and automatically, such that a corresponding one of the workout prescriptions instructs a user to take exercise.

  • Patent number: 8218004
Abstract: A displacement sensing system is disclosed. Two image capturing devices are settled at to opposite ends of a coordinate axis of the planar area, respectively, for capturing images of the planar area and an object placed thereon. Four pre-established LUT databases and an interactive four-matrix lookup table process are implemented to determine actual coordinates of the object on in the planar area.

  • Publication number: 20110238502
Abstract: A service method for real time information compares surrounding information provided by a transportation with conditional factors established in a database. A service center provides the real time information that conforming to the conditional factors to the transportation. Thence the transportation could respectively present the real time information on a multimedia display unit installed thereon. Whereby, the service center provides a corresponding real time information in accordance with the provided surrounding data around the transportation, and introduces the concept of time and region separation to preferably supply proper real time information to different users.

  • Patent number: 7953244
Abstract: A system integrating machine vision, interactive module and rehabilitation equipment primarily comprises a rehabilitation equipment, at least one image-capture device for continuously capturing images of specific limbs or a trunk of a user operating the rehabilitation equipment so as to generate digital image data, and a machine vision recognition unit for processing the digital image data into characteristic image data that can be analyzed and applied by a host computer belonging to the machine vision recognition unit. Then, the host computer can transform the characteristic image data into direction signals and velocity signals with respect to movements of the user's limbs and trunk and afterward output the signals to an interactive module.

  • Publication number: 20090143197
Abstract: The present invention discloses a dual-shaft hinge module for an interactive training apparatus. The dual-shaft hinge module comprises a first shaft assembly and a second shaft assembly, which orthogonally intersect and are positioned at a shaft seat. The first shaft assembly and the second shaft assembly can be controlled by a main post to rotated clockwise or anticlockwise against axes thereof. A first sensing and the second sensing units sense rotational directions and angles of the first and the second shaft assemblies to generate signals accordingly. The signals are then transmitted to an interactive device.
