  • Publication number: 20130257668
Abstract: A mobile device at least includes a dielectric substrate, an antenna array, and a transceiver. The antenna array includes a first antenna, a second antenna, and a third antenna. The third antenna is disposed between the first and second antennas so as to reduce coupling between the first and second antennas. The first, second and third antennas are all embedded in the dielectric substrate and substantially arranged in a straight line. Each of the first and second antennas is a transmission antenna and the third antenna is a reception antenna, or each of the first and second antennas is a reception antenna and the third antenna is a transmission antenna. The transceiver is coupled to the antenna array and is configured to transmit or receive a signal.

  • Publication number: 20130106672
Abstract: An electronic device for processing radio frequency signals includes an antenna, an RF circuit, and a matching circuit. The matching circuit provides variable impedance between the antenna and the RF circuit. The antenna is capable of operating in a first frequency band or a second frequency band according to the variable impedance The matching circuit includes a first element; a second element; a first tuning cell connected to the first element and the second element, and comprising a first tuning element, a second tuning element and a first control element, the first control element determining whether to make a first node connected between the first and second tuning elements couple to a voltage level according to a first control signal; and a selecting circuit coupled to the first control element and configured to generate the first control signal so as to adjust the variable impedance.

  • Publication number: 20090130999
Abstract: A wireless communication module is proposed, in which an LTCC substrate is employed. The LTCC substrate comprises at least a first layer and a second layer. At least first and second communication elements are deposited on the first layer, and a matching network is embedded in the second layer. The matching network couple the first and second communication elements to provide matched impedance, such that radio frequency signals are transmitted without distortion. Specifically, the first layer is the surface of the LTCC substrate, whereas the second layer is a depth inside the LTCC substrate. The matching network comprises at least one inductance or capacitance buried in the second layer.

  • Publication number: 20050046515
Abstract: An improved band pass filter of ?-type inductor is disclosed, which utilizes the serial inductor in the ? as a compensating inductor, which can lower the coupling coefficient of the band pass by adjusting the inductance ratio of the compensating inductor to that of the two parallel grounded inductors. Therefore, the coupling coefficient is lowered by adjusting the inductance of the ?-type inductors, avoid noise generation, and obtain optimal band pass characteristics, while miniaturizing the filter.
