Abstract: The invention relates to a protocol and textually based interface that allows for easy extension, providing enhanced financial language real-time trading of securities via a global computer network. Extensibility is possible by qualifying each specific request as a method, and elements within that method as parameters. The interface raises the level of abstraction from the communication protocol level to a software interface level. This feature provides flexibility in extending the specification.
