  • Publication number: 20240170913
Abstract: A surface light emitting element with high heat dissipation and uniform light emission includes a metal reflective layer, a first metal conductive layer, an omnidirectional reflecting current isolation layer, a first-type semiconductor current spreading layer, a light emitting diode layer, a second-type semiconductor current spreading layer and a second metal conductive layer. The metal reflective layer includes at least one surrounding wall structure. The omnidirectional reflecting current isolation layer is arranged on the metal reflective layer and entirely covers the two sides of the at least one surrounding wall structure to form at least one cylindrical channel. The light emitting diode layer is located in the at least one cylindrical channel.

  • Patent number: 11968856
Abstract: Exemplary subpixel structures include a directional light-emitting diode structure characterized by a full-width-half-maximum (FWHM) of emitted light having a divergence angle of less than or about 10°. The subpixel structure further includes a lens positioned a first distance from the light-emitting diode structure, where the lens is shaped to focus the emitted light from the light-emitting diode structure. The subpixel structure still further includes a patterned light absorption barrier positioned a second distance from the lens. The patterned light absorption barrier defines an opening in the barrier, and the focal point of the light focused by the lens is positioned within the opening. The subpixels structures may be incorporated into a pixel structure, and pixel structures may be incorporated into a display that is free of a polarizer layer.

  • Patent number: 11956994
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally related to 3D imaging capable OLED displays. A light field display comprises an array of 3D light field pixels, each of which comprises an array of corrugated OLED pixels, a metasurface layer disposed adjacent to the array of 3D light field pixels, and a plurality of median layers disposed between the metasurface layer and the corrugated OLED pixels. Each of the corrugated OLED pixels comprises primary or non-primary color subpixels, and produces a different view of an image through the median layers to the metasurface to form a 3D image. The corrugated OLED pixels combined with a cavity effect reduce a divergence of emitted light to enable effective beam direction manipulation by the metasurface. The metasurface having a higher refractive index and a smaller filling factor enables the deflection and direction of the emitted light from the corrugated OLED pixels to be well controlled.

  • Publication number: 20070009844
Abstract: A safety device of a lighter, which has simple structure and more truly provides safety effect. The safety device includes: a main body having a fuel reservoir and a base seat, a press section being disposed on the base seat for controlling a valve member to open/close the fuel reservoir; and a wheel disposed on the base seat. The wheel has a rotary shaft movably fitted in a wedge hole of the base seat. The wheel is movable and rotatable for abrading a firestone. Several ratchets are formed on a wall of the wedge hole. The rotary shaft is formed with annularly arranged ratchets. The rotary shaft can be moved within the wedge hole to selectively engage the ratchets of the rotary shaft with the ratchets of the wedge hole or disengage the ratchets of the rotary shaft from the ratchets of the wedge hole. In a disengaged state, the wheel is rotatable for igniting gas.

  • Publication number: 20060269883
Abstract: A safety device of a lighter including a main body having a fuel reservoir, a base seat, an arrester mounted in the main body, an ignition system controlled by the arrester, a valve member for opening/closing the fuel reservoir and a press section arranged on the base seat. The press section is movable and rotatable in a set path for driving the arrester. The press section includes a suspension arm formed with a wedge hole. A stake is fitted through the wedge hole of the suspension arm and relatively movable within the wedge hole for selectively releasing the stake from the interference of the wedge hole and permitting the press section to be turned for ignition.

  • Publication number: 20050266366
Abstract: A safety lock mechanism of a lighter, including a lighter main body, a press key and a safety shift plate. A gas container for containing gas and an ignition unit are disposed in the lighter main body. The press key is disposed on upper side of the ignition unit. A top side of the press key is formed with a slot perpendicular to a pressing direction of the press key. The safety shift plate is slidably disposed in the slot of the press key. The safety shift plate is pushed by a resilient member, whereby in normal state, one end of the safety shift plate extends into a dent of the lighter main body to restrict the press key from being pressed down. Under such circumstance, the lighter is in a locked safety state. When a user desires to ignite the gas, the user only needs to first outward push the safety shift plate along the slot with a finger. At this time, the end of the safety shift plate is extracted from the dent and the press key is released from the restriction.
