    Abstract: A method for fabrication of an anisotropic magnet comprises placing magnet alloy feedstock particles in a deformable metallic container and thermomechanically working the filled container in a manner to elongate the filled container and reduce its cross-sectional area to consolidate the magnet alloy particles to an elongated shape and impart a preferential grain texture to the consolidated, elongated shape. The consolidated, elongated shape is machined to a near-final magnet shape that has a smaller dimension such as magnet length and that includes a metallic tubular skin thereon.

The command causes the relocation of the data from the first set of blocks to the second set of blocks while bypassing sending the data to the storage controller. An acknowledgement is received that the relocated data has been stored at the second number of blocks.

The open blocks cache memory holds open blocks of data or metadata and holds closed blocks of data or metadata pending writing to the solid-state drive. Closed blocks of data or metadata are written to the solid-state drive and open blocks of data or metadata are written to the open blocks cache memory. Values for open blocks in the open blocks cache memory are tracked. The values are adjusted in a first direction when an open block is written to the open blocks cache memory, and the values are adjusted in a second direction when an open block in the open blocks cache memory is closed and written from the open blocks cache memory to the solid-state drive.

    Abstract: A method for preparing an intermediate by a reduced glutathione-indicated amino acid Maillard reaction is provided. The method includes a two-stage reaction at an increased temperature. A reduced glutathione is added after different times of a low-temperature reaction, and a subsequent Maillard reaction is effectively inhibited on a basis wherein a substance is interacted with an intermediate degradation product to reduce a formation of colored substances. Comparing with a browning of Maillard products after a high-temperature stage, a reaction time with a best color inhibition effect is found to be the optimal preparation condition of the intermediate, and the intermediate is prepared in an aqueous medium at a low temperature under this optimal preparation condition. The method uses the water soluble reduced glutathione as a tracer to improve a tracing accuracy comparing to cysteine.
