The method for determining a strategy for data placement within a Solid State Drive SSD, includes acquiring an optimization target and workload metric data that is pre-collected for a time period; selecting a machine learning model and a training data strategy according to the optimization target; selecting feature data from the workload metric data for the time period according to the selected training data strategy, and training the selected machine learning model based on the selected feature data; determining, in each subsequent predicting time, a strategy for data placement for a predicting time period corresponding to the predicting time according to the workload metric data for the time period and the workload metric data that is collected in the predicting time by using the trained machine learning model.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method and apparatus for determining a storage load of an application. The method includes acquiring statistic data of a storage load, inputting the statistic data, and determining read/write request tracking data of the storage load. The acquired statistic data of a storage load may be generated by an application in a predetermined time period. The determined read/write request tracking data of the storage load may be during the predetermined time period through the pre-trained machine learning model. The statistic data may include global information corresponding to read/write requests generated by the application in a predetermined time period. The read/write request tracking data may be information of each read/write request generated by the application in a predetermined time period.

Abstract: A multi-spot ophthalmic laser device that produces spatially distributed laser spots with the spatial distribution of the laser spots defined by a spot diameter to space ratio in the range 1:2 to 1:20. The multi-spot ophthalmic laser device comprises: a laser module producing a laser pulse or sequence of laser pulses each having: a pulse duration in the range of 10 ps to 20 ?s; a wavelength in the range 500 nm to 900 nm; and a pulse energy in the range 10 ?J to 10 mJ per pulse; and an optical beam profiling module that modifies an output beam profile of each pulse of the laser module to deliver multiple spatially distributed laser spots of defined size and energy.
