Abstract: A mechanism for associating a remote document with an email based on user behaviors is described herein. According to one embodiment, an email context is extracted from a current email being accessed by a user, the email context including one or more attributes representing certain characteristics of the current email. A related context having a list of one or more documents is automatically presented that are related to the current email based on at least one attribute of the email context. The one or more documents are associated with a prior email having certain characteristics that are similar to those represented by at least one attribute of the email context. Other methods and apparatuses are also described.

  • Publication number: 20100077084
Abstract: A method and an apparatus of processing Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) messages based on multiple cores. The method comprises: pre-parsing a received SIP message to obtain an identifier of the SIP message; dispatching SIP messages with the same identifier to the same core; and processing, on each core, SIP messages dispatched to the core by using related dedicated resources. The present invention relieves the resource contention and thus improves the utilization efficiency of computing resources of cores.

  • Publication number: 20090144426
Abstract: To reduce traffic between multiple servers in a presence system and improve the performance of the presence system, a method and device is provided for user-management in a presence system, and a presence system. The presence system comprises multiple presence servers communicating through a network, and said device for user-management comprises a combining means for combining multiple user sets among which there are the greatest correlations into a user set to be allocated; and an allocating means for allocating said user set to be allocated to one presence server which can contain said user set to be allocated. Through allocating multiple user sets among which there are the greatest correlations to a same presence server, communications among users in the user set are performed within a same presence server, reducing occupations for network resources and improving performance of the presence system.

  • Publication number: 20080256746
Abstract: A fitting for a shutter sash includes a bearing body, a support plate and a reinforcing rib. The bearing body consists of a stationary plate, a movable plate pivotally connected to one another. The stationary plate is fixed onto a window frame or the like, and the movable plate is fixed on a shutter sash so that the oscillating-swing shutter may pivotally rotate by means of the fitting. The support plate extends traversely from lower portion of the movable plate in a predetermined length. The reinforcing rib made integrally with and extending traversely from predetermined portion of the fitting orienting towards the shutter sash to form into a predetermined shape. A rabbet groove formed on the shutter sash in a corresponding position to the reinforcing rib so as to allow the reinforcing rib to be inserted and further improve the mechanical strength of the unit, so the shutter could be securely suspended thereon.

  • Publication number: 20080253387
Abstract: A method and apparatus for improving SIP server performance is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an enqueuer for determining whether a request packet entering into the server is a new request or a retransmitted request and its retransmission times and for enqueuing the request packet into different queues based on results of the determining step and a dequeuer for dequeuing the packet in the queues for processing based on a scheduling policy. The apparatus may further include a policy controller for communicating with the server, enqueuer, dequeuer, queues and user, to dynamically and automatically set, or set based on the user's instructions, the scheduling policy, number of different queues, each queue's capacity, scheduling, etc. based on the network and/or server load and/or based on different server applications.

  • Patent number: 7360464
Abstract: A starter motor is provided having a starter motor housing with an electric motor mounted therein. A stationary gear base mounted onto the starter motor housing and includes a plurality of pockets formed therein and spaced thereabout. A stationary gear is rotatably mounted within the stationary gear base for limited rotational movement and includes a plurality of legs that extend into the pockets. One or more variable rate dampening members are positioned within the pockets, circumferentially between the legs of the stationary gear and inner walls of the pockets. The variable rate dampening members provide variable rate dampening such that when the starter motor experiences high frequency, low amplitude oscillations the dampening members provide a first spring rate and when the starter motor experiences a high amplitude impact for a short duration of time, the dampening members provide a second spring rate that is stronger than the first spring rate.

The pinion has an inner surface disposed about the output shaft, wherein the inner surface extends to an end face of the pinion. The pinion comprises a primary edge for moving particles from the output shaft as the pinion moves along the output shaft. The primary edge is formed along a length of the inner surface and extends to the end face. The primary edge defines a groove in which the particles are received as the pinion moves along the output shaft. The groove is formed along the length of the inner surface and adjacent the primary edge.
