Publication number: 20250105833Abstract: A duty cycle correction method and a duty cycle correction apparatus, adapted for correcting a duty cycle of a clock signal by using a duty cycle adjuster in a high-capacity and high-performance semiconductor product such as a 3D NAND flash, are provided. In the method, the duty cycle is adjusted and input to data pads to generate data signals, wherein the data pads are divided into at least two groups and defined by data patterns that are inverse to each other; DC voltages of the data signals of a first group of data pads are detected to generate a first average DC voltage, and DC voltages of the data signals of a second group of data pads are detected to generate a second average DC voltage, the aforementioned average DC voltages are compared, and the duty cycle adjuster is controlled to adjust the duty cycle of the clock signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2023Publication date: March 27, 2025Applicant: MACRONIX International Co., Ltd.Inventors: Wei-Yi Cheng, Su-Chueh Lo

Publication number: 20250104750Abstract: A calibration apparatus of a memory device and a calibration method thereof are provided. The memory device is a 3D NAND flash with high capacity and high performance. The calibration apparatus includes an impedance, a strong-arm comparator, a logic circuit, and a calibration controller. The impedance is configured to generate a comparison voltage. The strong-arm comparator includes a differential input pair and a latch. The differential input pair compares a reference voltage and the comparison voltage to produce a comparison result. The latch latches the comparison result and generates a latch signal and an inverted latch signal accordingly. The logic circuit generates a comparison result signal according to the latch signal and the inverted latch signal. The calibration controller implements an impedance calibration in the memory device according to the comparison result signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2023Publication date: March 27, 2025Applicant: MACRONIX International Co., Ltd.Inventors: Wei-Yi Cheng, Su-Chueh Lo

Publication number: 20220346699Abstract: Medical device systems and methods are disclosed herein for assessing motor symptoms in Parkinson's disease patients through passively and/or actively acquired sensor data of motor behaviors and generating motor system assessments. Passive movement data and/or active motor performance data collected from Parkinson's disease patients is representative of EQ-5D-5L, PDQ-39, and/or MDS-UPDRS health status measurement data to more accurately predict quality of life, health status, and disease severity of Parkinson's disease patients. The generated motor system assessment may be used to provide neurologists and other health professionals with more accurate treatment recommendations and disease management protocols rather than using patient surveys alone.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2020Publication date: November 3, 2022Inventors: Florian Lipsmeier, Michael Lindemann, Kirsten Taylor, Alessandra Elena Thomann, Ekaterina Volkova-Volkmar, Wei-Yi Cheng

Publication number: 20220265212Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mobile-optimized software tools that may be deployed and used to measure spatial working memory across diverse clinical trial populations. For example, some aspects describe computational optimization and participatory design of a novel spatial working memory task for clinical trials relating to autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or other neurological conditions (e.g., Alzheimer's disease). Software tools as described herein may be used for measuring treatment effects on spatial working memory and/or provide treatments to improve a patient's spatial working memory. Digital biomarkers may be generated for each patient based on the patient's spatial working memory.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 2, 2022Publication date: August 25, 2022Applicant: Hoffmann-La Roche Inc.Inventors: Michael LINDEMANN, Florian LIPSMEIER, David NOBBS, Wei-Yi CHENG, David Alexander SLATER, Timothy KILCHENMANN, Christian GOSSENS, Joerg HIPP, Christopher CHATHAM, Eduardo Alberto APONTE PEREZ
