    Abstract: Methods are provided for making a membrane or textile having a mechanically robust surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrate by in a first step adhesively bonding a micropatch array to a substrate, the micropatch array having a plurality of micron-scale pillars, each of the micron-scale pillars in the plurality of micron-scale pillars containing a plurality of plasmonic nanoparticles dispersed within a polymer matrix; and in a subsequent step etching a portion of the polymer matrix to expose at least a portion of the plasmonic nanoparticles at or near a surface of the micron-scale pillars. Membranes and textiles containing the mechanically robust surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrates are also provided.

Specifically, the intumescent flame-retardant coiled material for cables comprises a thermal expansion layer and a combustible armor layer adjacent to the thermal expansion layer. The intumescent flame-retardant cable comprises a cable core; a thermal expansion layer adjacent to the cable core; and a combustible armor layer adjacent to the thermal expansion layer. The intumescent flame-retardant coiled material can be used for mounted and curved cables and can provide excellent flame-retardant performance while providing effective mechanical protection for cables.

    Abstract: A system for providing improved video quality and compression efficiency during encoding by detecting video segments having film grain approaching the “Red Lady” problem. The system detects when film grain approaches the level of the “Red Lady” problem by measuring frame-by-frame temporal differences (ME scores). From the ME scores, two key indicators are identified: (1) The average temporal difference in frames with an intermediate motion level higher than frames of non-noisy video; and (2) The fluctuation of the temporal differences between frames in a group is very small. When these indicators identify a high film video, a signal is provided to an encoder which allocates less bits to I frames and more bits to P and B frames than for other frames of video without comparable film grain.

The application can improve the wafer flatness for improved photolithography for back-end-of-line processes and thereby increasing product yield.

This can prevent congestion in advance and reduce a delay of a delay-sensitive flow, and is applicable to a large data center.

    Abstract: A spot sub-pixel center positioning method based on pixel movement and cutting, the method includes driving the CCD image plane to move along the x direction and the y direction through a displacement platform, selecting target pixels to move and cut the spot, and recording the gray value change of the target pixels, constructing the mapping relationship between gray value and displacement, performing differential transformation on the gray value and displacement curve, and finally performing interpolation fitting to obtain the sub-pixel coordinate value of the center point of the light spot. The measurement accuracy can be maintained within ½ of the single-step displacement of cutting. The method is not only suitable for strong and weak distribution of light spots, but also for fully saturated light spots, and also for asymmetrically distributed and blurred edges. It also has a good measurement effect and can handle a variety of spot scenes.

As for the treatment of the last mother liquor of taurine, add alkali firstly to the last mother liquor of taurine and then acid to form salt, or add salt directly; then concentrate and crystallize and filter, to remove lots of impurities in taurine mother liquor. This solves the problem of separating impurities, greatly shortening the time of removing impurities. The last mother liquor can also be decolorizes and additional impurities removes by activated carbon, and the removal of salt by mixing ammonia into the mother liquor to obtain the pure taurine mother liquor, thereby recovering the mother liquor and increasing the product yield.
