    Abstract: The present invention relates to solidified, oil-in-water dispersion or emulsion deodorant or antiperspirant stick compositions. Disclosed is a deodorant or an antiperspirant stick composition in the form of an oil-in-water dispersion or emulsion, comprising: i) at least one lipophilic material having a melting point higher than 50° C.; ii) at least one nonionic emulsifier having a HLB value from 1 to 11 within an oil-in-water emulsifier mixture with an average HLB value in the range of from 6.8 to 11; iii) an aqueous cosmetically acceptable carrier; wherein said composition comprises at least 8% of said lipophilic material by weight of the composition; wherein said composition comprises higher than 50 wt % of water by weight of the composition; wherein said lipophilic material has a straight alkyl chain comprising at least 20 carbon atoms.

    Abstract: The present invention is in the field of antiperspirant compositions, in particular, compositions comprising antiperspirant actives. Disclosed is an antiperspirant composition comprising (i) lecithin; (ii) a non-ionic surfactant having a HLB value lower than 4.7 or higher than 8.6; (iii) at least one organic compound selected from fatty acid having 10-22 carbons, and fatty alcohol which is selected from oleyl alcohol, isostearyl alcohol, lanolin alcohol, heptanol, octanol, decanol, and nonanol; and (iv) a cosmetically acceptable carrier; wherein said composition comprises less than 30% of water; wherein said composition comprises at least 3% of said lecithin by weight of the composition. Also disclosed is a non-therapeutic method of reducing perspiration comprising a step of topical application of the antiperspirant composition.
