The method is applied to a first electronic device, and includes: determining first data to be transmitted in the first electronic device; monitoring whether a second electronic device is located in a preset distance from the first electronic device; and sending the first data to the second electronic device through a first wireless transmission channel directly connected between the first electronic device and the second electronic device, in the case where the second electronic device is located in the preset distance from the first electronic device. The method may reduce the complexity of data transmission.
