The UE receives a quasi co-location (QCL) configuration between a synchronization signal block (SSB) and at least one of a further SSB or a tracking reference signal (TRS), receives the SSB and the at least one of the further SSB or the TRS and estimates a frequency and timing error for the SSB by combining, based on the QCL configuration, measurements for the SSB and measurements for the at least one of the further SSB or the TRS.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a network-controlled repeater (NCR) to provide hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment/negative acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) to a base station, in 5G NR systems and beyond. The NCR receives a control message from a base station scheduling resources for an uplink or downlink message. The uplink or downlink message is received, and the NCR determines whether the received message has a signal quality that exceeds a quality threshold. When the signal quality exceeds the quality threshold, the uplink or downlink message is forwarded to the base station or to a UE, respectively. HARQ ACK/NACK feedback is provided to the base station, and may be provided as joint HARQ feedback or separate HARQ messages for each of the control message and the uplink or downlink message. Separate or joint HARQ feedback may be provided when the NCR receives multiple control messages from the base station.

The method includes determining a first maximum number of layers associated with the first SRS resource set, a second maximum number of layers associated with the second SRS resource set, and a third maximum number of layers to be used when the UE switches to a single-TRP PUSCH transmission with only one of the first TRP or the second TRP. The method includes performing the first and second PUSCH transmissions using the first and second maximum numbers of layers, respectively. The method includes switching to the single-TRP PUSCH transmission and transmitting the same using the third maximum number of layers.

    Abstract: The techniques described herein provide solutions for SL signaling that supports two candidate starting symbols within a slot. Slots with two candidate starting symbols may not be applicable to slots with feedback channel resources. Slots with two candidate starting symbols may be preconfigured. Slot structures and solutions for determining transport block size (TBS), for slots supporting two candidate starting symbols, are provided. Also described are solutions for processing time constraints and time gaps between reception of slots supporting two candidate starting symbols and providing feedback regarding such slots. Techniques described herein also include solutions for sharing information during overlapping long-term evolution (LTE) and new radio (NR) sensing windows, sharing LTE and NR sub-channel resources, and avoiding NR feedback transmission that may overlap with LTE transmissions. These and other features and techniques are described herein.

The UE can determine that GNSS information is not available, and report to the base station that the GNSS information is not available. The UE can receive, from the base station, an indication of one or more parameters for an uplink transmission from the UE to synchronize the uplink transmission. The UE can determine, based on a current transmission frequency and the received indication of the one or more parameters, a next transmission frequency and transmit the uplink transmission at the determined next transmission frequency.
