    Abstract: A user equipment including a transceiver and a processor is disclosed. The processor is configured to determine a sidelink control information (SCI) format payload size based on resource pool configuration for the UE for inter-UE coordination with a second UE. The processor is configured to determine, based on the determined SCI format payload size, an SCI format including a number of message elements identifying attributes of a number of resources being used by the UE over a predetermined time period. The processor is configured to encode and transmit, to the second UE, the SCI format for the IUC for resource selection by the second UE.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for a network-controlled repeater (NCR) to share power during the simultaneous transmission of a control link and backhaul link. When the total power for transmitting via the control link and the backhaul link are below a maximum power for transmission, the NCR can use the calculated transmission powers for transmitting each link. Otherwise, the NCR can apply a relative priority to the links, a default priority to each link, a stepwise reduction of power, or a power sharing factor. A power sharing technique can be based on whether there is overlap between the links on the same time symbol, where the same or different beams are used for each link, and/or whether a priority flag for an access link is being used. These and many other features and examples are described.

Some embodiments enable a user equipment (UE) to determine Channel Quality Indicators (CQI) and/or Precoding Matrix Indicators (PMI) for multi-PDSCH transmissions that account for effects of a duration of the multi-PDSCH transmission including the maximum interval between the first and last PDSCH transmissions on the CQI and PMI determinations. Some embodiments include a base station that detects a need for a change in a beam direction and adjusts the beam direction accordingly based on the PMI determinations. Some embodiments enable a desired hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-ACK feedback transmission from a single multi-PDSCH transmission.

Under certain criteria, including performance of at least one radio link, a mobility state of a 5G-capable wireless device, and data transport requirements for a latency sensitive application session, the 5G-capable wireless device sends buffer status report (BSR) requests for one or more both of the radio links to prioritize and transition uplink (UL) data between radio links before a measurement reporting threshold is met. In some embodiments, the 5G-capable wireless device proactively sends BSR requests for radio resources before the UL data is generated by the latency sensitive application session. In some embodiments, the 5G-capable wireless device duplicates UL data for the latency sensitive application session across multiple radio links.
