  • Publication number: 20160306904
Abstract: A method for obtaining a relation between a winding state and a leakage reactance parameter of a transformer by using simulation software is provided. The method includes: establishing a simulation transformer based on a size of a physical transformer; setting parameters of the simulation transformer, setting a winding of the simulation transformer in a predetermined winding state; obtaining a predetermined number of values of a leakage reactance parameter of the simulation transformer in the winding state; and performing statistics on all the values to obtain a value range of the leakage reactance parameter in a case that the winding is in the winding state. The value range is used as a value range of a leakage reactance parameter of the physical transformer in a case that a winding of the physical transformer is in the winding state.

  • Patent number: 7745031
Abstract: SOFC cell comprising a metallic support 1 ending in a substantially pure electron conducting oxide, an active anode layer 2 consisting of doped ceria, ScYSZ, Ni—Fe alloy, an electrolyte layer 3 consisting of co-doped zirconia based on oxygen ionic conductor, an active cathode layer 5 and a layer of a mixture of LSM and a ferrite as a transition layer 6 to a cathode current collector 7 of single phase LSM. The use of a metallic support instead of a Ni—YSZ anode support increases the mechanical strength of the support and secures redox stability of the support. The porous ferrite stainless steel ends in a pure electron conducting oxide so as to prevent reactivity between the metals in the active anode which tends to dissolve into the ferrite stainless steel causing a detrimental phase shift from ferrite to austenite structure.

  • Patent number: 6836072
Abstract: A gas filled channel is formed between a pair of plates. A phosphor is disposed upon a surface of the channel and the channel is filled with a mixture of noble gases. A surface electrode is formed upon the exterior surface of each of the plates. Upon application of an alternating voltage to the pair of surface electrodes, the electrodes are capacitively coupled across the channel and break down the gas contained in the channel. The gasses emit ultraviolet light that causes the phosphor to emit visible light in a characteristic color.

  • Patent number: 6058383
Abstract: A computationally efficient method for trusted and dynamic dissemination of digital objects. Related digital objects of various types are grouped, based on their usage and functionality, by an information provider into distribution packages. Trustworthiness of objects contained in a distribution package are certified by a trusted certification authority in the form of a certificate which consists of a body and the certification authority's signature on the body based on a public-key digital signature scheme. The body further consists of the name of the information provider; name of the distribution package; and type, safety checking flag, and digest of each and every object. It is used by end users to verify the trust criteria of any individual or any subset of objects specified by the package.

  • Patent number: 5499298
Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for controlling the dissemination of digital information. Digital information is structured logically to incorporate usage history and allowable access window before it is encrypted in a header portion and a body portion. The end user accesses the digital information with a tamper-proof controlled information access device by decrypting the digital information. A controller disposed in the controlled information access device permits end users to access transparently uncontrolled information. Controlled digital information will be accessed as long as the conditions specified by the information provider are met. In one embodiment of the present invention, controlled information is disseminated in an off-line manner while the second embodiment of the present invention disseminates controlled digital information in an on-line manner.

  • Patent number: 5412718
Abstract: The present invention is a method for preventing unauthorized copying and use of information which is stored on a storage medium and for restricting the use of such information to designated devices. Copy protection is achieved by generating a signature from a given storage medium. The signature is derived from an arbitrarily selected list of nonuniformities, uniformities and their attributes. The selected list may contain nonuniformities at any granularity level. As such, this signature is unique to a given storage medium in the same way finger prints are unique to a human being. This signature is used to derive a key for encrypting the information on the storage medium. Any copying of the distribution information from one storage medium to another results in the mutation of the signature required to decrypt the information. Therefore, the present invention obviates the need for introducing artificial indica or requiring a special hardware subsystem for achieving a copy protection scheme.
