Abstract: A system can be used to monitor a file enrichment process to automatically update a cloud database. The system can transfer a file from a mainframe database to an intermediary system prior to transferring the file to a cloud database to enrich the file. The file can include a set of encrypted values corresponding to interaction data of one or more interactions. Subsequently, the system can apply a key rotation process to replace a first encryption key associated with the set of encrypted values with a second encryption key. The system can detect that the file has stopped at a particular intermediary system prior to being transferred to the cloud database. In response, the system can determine an action to perform at the particular intermediary system to continue transferring the file to the cloud database. The system can output a command to the particular intermediary system to perform the action.

A second external source of transaction data may also be merged with the combined database, providing another option for common data fields, and further additional data fields. Other external data sources may include data describing external accounts, where all of the accounts are loaded in an aggregated database. The combined database and the aggregated database are presented to the customer where the transaction data is consistent across all data sources, each transaction record includes supplemental data from the external sources, actionable links are provided to external systems, and financial insights are enhanced by the external account data.

Clients with a tiered account at a bank using the digital banking system achieve promotion to a higher tier or level based on total deposits in the account or other criteria. Various communication methodologies are used to notify the client of the promotion to the higher tier, including push notifications and displays in the digital banking system itself. The notifications and displays include insights into new features and benefits which have been unlocked in the higher tier and are now available to the client. Gamification techniques are used to increase client engagement in the system, such as teasers to entice the client to try the new features and learn more about the new benefits, and insights which improve client understanding of their financial situation and how to use available features and benefits to improve it.

The account overview section displays data for a single customer account, and comprises a recent activity view and an upcoming activity view, each containing a transaction list and top spending categories, along with a cash flow summary for the current month and an activity chart for recent months. The upcoming activity is derived from sources of known upcoming transactions, such as mortgage payments, subscription fees, paychecks, etc. The overall financial health section displays data for all accounts belonging to the customer, including balance values for recent months, total and categorized spending across all accounts for the current month, a credit score, and other insights. Each display element of the account overview and overall financial health sections is constructed as a widget which the customer may reposition on the display as desired.
