    Abstract: A hypergravity model test device for simulating a progressive failure of a shield tunnel face, including a model box, a shield tunnel model, a servo loading control system and a data acquisition system. The servo loading control system includes a servo motor, a planetary roller screw electric cylinder and a loading rod. The data acquisition system includes a displacement transducer, an axial force meter, a pore pressure transducer, an earth pressure transducer and an industrial camera. The servo loading control system is connected to an excavation plate through the loading rod to control the excavation plate to move back and forth along an axial direction of the shield tunnel model at a set speed to simulate failure of the shield tunnel face. A method for simulating a progressive failure of a shield tunnel face is also provided.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a yieldable construction method for early releasing surrounding rock deformation on a weak toppling slope, thereby reducing surrounding rock toppling deformation risk in and after an excavation process and ensuring overall slope stability and safety of a supporting structure. A technical solution of the present invention is as follows: loosing a rock mass through controlled blasting; inducing toppling deformation of the slope by injecting water and softening a blasting relaxation part of the rock mass; determining timing of water injection by monitoring slope surface displacement characteristics of the slope; and performing a normal excavation process of the toppling deformation slope after injecting is completed. The present invention is applicable to design and construction of high slope engineering of a special kind of rocks, i.e., a toppling deformation slope composed of weak rock masses.

A technical solution of the present invention is as follows: the surrounding rock pretreatment method includes the following steps: 1. determining a pretreatment area, wherein an area in which a clear spacing between a to-be-constructed tunnel and an adjacent existing tunnel in a TBM tunneling direction is less than 2 times that of a tunnel diameter of the TBM to-be-constructed tunnel is the pretreatment area: 2. performing controlled blasting; 3. injecting high pressure water, and selecting part of blast holes I to perform cyclic water injection pressurizing; and 4, performing normal tunneling by the TBM.
