The method includes presenting a widget setting interface on a display device based on first input, where the first input is used to select the widget setting interface, and the widget setting interface includes a widget setting region; and presenting a widget unit in a first setting sub-region based on second input, where the second input is used to select the widget unit and select the first setting sub-region that is used to present the widget unit and belongs to the widget setting region, and the widget unit is mapped to at least one application program. In the widget setting method and the terminal device provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a shape, content, and a mapped application program of a home screen widget can be user-defined, which meets a requirement of a user.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method, a device, and a terminal for implementing incoming call protection. The method includes: determining, according to a frequency for operating a terminal by a user, whether a status of an incoming call protection mode is on or off; if the incoming call protection mode is on, when an incoming call signal arrives, delaying the incoming call signal; and if the incoming call protection mode is off, when an incoming call signal has been delayed and the incoming call signal still continues, releasing the incoming call signal, and when an incoming call signal has been delayed, but the incoming call signal becomes weak or has disappeared, prompting the user that there is a missed call. According to the present invention, a problem of unwittingly connecting or hanging up an incoming call by a user is effectively solved.

Abstract: Embodiments disclose a method and an apparatus for moving an interface object. The method may include: receiving an instruction for moving a first interface object on an interface from a first area to a second area; updating, according to the received instruction, a display position of the first interface object on the interface to the second area; obtaining a second interface object according to a preset rule; searching for, in an entire interface range on the interface except the second area, a display position for the second interface object; updating a display position of the second interface object according to the display position found through searching; and displaying all interface objects on the interface according to display positions of all the interface objects.
