    Abstract: A gamma calibration method based on three primary colors is disclosed. The method comprises following steps: performing the gamma calibration onto one of two electro-optic display systems which have three primary colors with different intrinsic wavelengths; correcting the three primary colors of the two electro-optic display system and an output dominant wavelength of a first system of the two electro-optic display systems, resulting in a transition from the output dominant wavelength of the first system to a output dominant wavelength of a second system of the two electro-optic display system, so that the output dominant wavelength of the first system being more and more consistent with the output dominant wavelength of the second system in color space.

    Abstract: A method for three-primary-color combined gamma calibration is disclosed. Three-primary-color combined gamma calibration is applied to two electro-optic display systems with three primary colors having intrinsic wavelengths which are not completely the same or to a single electro-optic display system, Not only the electro-optic nonlinearity is calibrated but also the output dominant wavelengths of the systems, are calibrated. This calibration is achieved by way of actively bringing in and superposing other primary color components, and the superposed components are the functions of the calibrated primary colors in the whole color gamut space.

    Abstract: A method for pixel to pixel displaying an input video on a spliced display screen is provided. In the spliced display screen, actual physical pixels of a display area of each display screen are distributed on the basis of a physical outer diameter of the display screen according to an nK video standard. The physical outer diameter includes a screen margin/bezel and a display area of a display screen. The physical pixels of the nK video standard are uniformly distributed in the whole physical outer diameter of the display screen with a bezel, including being uniformly distributed in the width of the margin/bezel. The actual physical pixels in the display area of the display screen are fewer than those of the nK video standard, and the width occupied by the missing pixels is consistent with that occupied by the display screen margin/bezel.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a display device for achieving seamless splicing of display screens. The invention comprises several screens spliced in array, wherein a display belt frame is provided on the frame of each screen; the screen and said display belt frame form an integral display plane; a processing circuit that splits the original display plane into the screens and the display belt frames links each of the screens and the display belt frames, said display belt frame being composed of LEDs or OLEDs, and said processing circuit being composed of a video processing card that splits the video images, an LCD/PDP drive circuit and an LED/OLED drive circuit. The advantage of this invention is that it can sufficiently utilize the advantages of both LCD/PDP and LED/OLED and thus eliminate the frames formed during the splicing of several smaller display screens into one larger display screen.
