  • Publication number: 20230023461
Abstract: A device suspension method and a computing device are provided. In the method, before a device enters a suspended state, memory space occupied by a background process that is unrelated to a foreground process is released. In this way, the background process unrelated to the foreground process is not saved in a memory of the device. In other words, it reduces data stored in the memory when the device is suspended. Therefore, when the device needs to be woken up, only a relatively small amount of data needs to be read from the memory, and a working state can be rapidly restored. This can reduce a delay of reading data from the memory when the device is woken up, thereby accelerating a wakeup speed of the device. In addition, the data is stored in the memory when the device is suspended.

  • Patent number: 11488402
Abstract: A method and system for segmenting touching text lines in an image of a uchen-script Tibetan historical document are provided. The method includes: first obtaining a binary image of a uchen-script Tibetan historical document after layout analysis; detecting local baselines in the binary image, to generate a local baseline information set; detecting and segmenting a touching region in the binary image according to the local baseline information set, to generate a touching-region-segmented image; allocating connected components in the touching-region-segmented image to corresponding lines, to generate a text line allocation result; and splitting text lines in the touching-region-segmented image according to the text line allocation result, to generate a line-segmented image. In the present disclosure, touching text lines in a Tibetan historical document can be effectively segmented, and text line segmentation efficiency of the Tibetan historical document is improved.

  • Patent number: 7957356
Abstract: A scalable medium access control (“MAC”) module is provided that avoids conflict resource reservation so that network performance does not degrade as the number of hops or nodes in a wireless network increases. The MAC also provides different access schemes for traffic with different quality of service (“QoS”) requirements such that QoS is guaranteed and network resources are efficiently utilized. Furthermore, the resource allocation scheme determines the routing path as resources is allocated for data traffic, thereby achieving more robust layer-2 routing at the MAC layer. Finally, the scalable MAC is compliant with both WiMedia MAC and IEEE 802.15.3 MAC.
