  • Patent number: 11012507
Abstract: Techniques leveraging CPU flow affinity to increase throughput of a layer 2 (L2) extension network are disclosed. In one embodiment, an L2 concentrator appliance, which bridges a local area network (LAN) and a wide area network (WAN) in a stretched network, is configured such that multiple Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) tunnels are pinned to respective CPUs or cores, which each process traffic flows for one of the IPsec tunnels. Such parallelism can increase the throughput of the stretched network. Further, an L2 concentrator appliance that receives FOU packets is configured to distribute the received FOU packets across receive queues based a deeper inspection of inner headers of such packets.

  • Patent number: 11000708
Abstract: Use of carrimycin in Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection resistance comprises the main steps: measuring the activity of carrimycin in Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance by adopting an absolute concentration method through taking clinical first-line antituberculotics, i.e., isoniazid and rifampicin as controls. The result indicates that carrimycin has obvious superior activity to clinically-separated Mycobacterium tuberculosis including drug-resistant bacteria compared with those of the clinical first-line control drugs, i.e., the isoniazid and the rifampicin, and use of carrimycin in manufacturing drugs for treating tubercle Bacillus infected diseases are expected to be developed.

  • Publication number: 20210084125
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to manage the encapsulation of layer two communications across computing sites. In one example, a gateway at a first computing site may receive an encapsulated packet from a second gateway at a second computing site. After receiving the encapsulated packet, the gateway decapsulates the encapsulated packet and determines that the decapsulated packet satisfies MSS criteria. The gateway further, in response to determining that the decapsulated packet satisfies the MSS criteria, modifies an MSS option associated with the decapsulated packet to a maximum value and forwards the decapsulated packet to a destination virtual node in the first computing site.

  • Patent number: 10901593
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for configuring components in a display template based on a user interface type are described. A template customization application may support configuration of a display template corresponding to multiple user interface types. A user may customize the display template by adding a component to the display template (e.g., where the display template is displayed by the template customization application according to a specific user interface type view). The template customization application may determine whether the added component supports rendering for the current user interface type and may display the component in the template based on the determination (e.g., either as a functional component or as a placeholder). Each user interface type supported by the template may be defined in a single underlying metadata file, so adding the component into one view will automatically add the component for all of the supported the user interface types.

  • Patent number: 10865256
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for preparing cross-linked hyaluronic acid-based cell scaffold material. The hyaluronic acid-based cell scaffold is obtained by subjecting a hyaluronic acid and a disulfide cross-linking agent to an amidation reaction, followed by dialysis-freeze drying. The cell scaffold has abundant pores, good mechanical strength which ensures that the scaffold does not rupture in transplantation, and good biocompatibility. The method is advantageous in that the raw material is easy to obtain, the reaction condition is moderate, and the process is simple. Cross-linked networks of the prepared hydrogel contain disulfide bonds, which can quickly split into single chains at the presence of small molecular glutathione. The hyaluronic acid-based cell scaffold has flexibly controllable mechanical property, disaggregation ability, and swelling property, and therefore has wide applications in facilitating cartilage injury repair, skin repair, cell culture, etc.

  • Patent number: 10853116
Abstract: The disclosure provides an approach for preventing the failure of virtual computing instance transfers across data centers. In one embodiment, a flow control module collects performance information primarily from components in a local site, as opposed to components in a remote site, during the transfer of a virtual machine (VM) from the local site to the remote site. The performance information that is collected may include various performance metrics, each of which is considered a feature. The flow control module performs feature preparation by normalizing feature data and imputing missing feature data, if any. The flow control module then inputs the prepared feature data into machine learning model(s) which have been trained to predict whether a VM transfer will succeed or fail, given the input feature data. If the prediction is that the VM transfer will fail, then remediation actions may be taken, such as slowing down the VM transfer.
