Abstract: An apparatus includes at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: control receiving, by a user device from a network node, an uplink grant for an uplink transmission, and information indicative of at least one of an In-Band Emission requirement or an Error Vector Magnitude requirement for the uplink transmission; determine, by the user device, a maximum power reduction value for the uplink transmission based at least on the information indicative of at least one of an In-Band Emission requirement or an Error Vector Magnitude requirement; and control transmitting, by the user device for the uplink transmission, a signal at an output power based at least on the maximum power reduction value.
