Abstract: A method and device for managing an application program are provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a first edge computing platform, an application program component of the first edge computing platform and an application program component of a second edge computing platform, where the application program component of the first edge computing platform and the application program component of the second edge computing platform are application program components in a global application program; and sending the application program component of the second edge computing platform to the second edge computing platform. The second edge computing platform installs the application program component of the second edge computing platform, thereby implementing a deployment of application programs between all levels of edge computing platforms.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method and a host machine, so that when a host machine cannot directly connect to the Internet, a virtual terminal can still connect to a mobile network. This extends an application scope of the virtual terminal. The host machine obtains a first network address of a physical terminal, where the physical terminal has started to establish a connection or has established a connection to the mobile network; and the host machine sets a second network address of the virtual terminal to the first network address, so that the virtual terminal sends data to the mobile network by using the first network address and/or receives, by using the first network address, data sent by the mobile network. The virtual terminal runs on the host machine.

Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure relate to the communications field, and provide a multicast method and apparatus, to transmit multicast data in a wireless network. An example method includes: receiving, by a multicast function network element, multicast data from a multicast source and that includes a multicast address; obtaining, by the multicast function network element based on a preset correspondence, terminal information or connection information that corresponds to the multicast address; and sending, by the multicast function network element, the multicast data to a terminal.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for routing user plane data in a mobile network are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention, relate to the field of communications, and solve the problem that transmission delay of packet service data is relatively great in the prior art. The method for routing user plane data in the mobile network includes that: an access network bearer and a PDN gateway bearer of a user equipment are directly interconnected through a tunnel established between an access network and a PDN gateway; and data between a Home NodeB, a Home NodeB Gateway or a macro network access network and the PDN gateway is directly routed through the tunnel. The method, the apparatus, and the system can be applied to a mobile communication system.

Abstract: A location area management method and a device, the location area management method including receiving, by a single radio controller, a first request message, where the first request message is used by user equipment UE to request a location update, generating, by the single radio controller, a paging area list of the UE according to the first request message, where the paging area list includes a location area identity of a location area of at least one network standard, adding, by the single radio controller, the paging area list of the UE to a first response message, and sending the first response message to the UE.

Abstract: A data processing method, a terminal device, and a network device are provided, to provide a processing manner of an application data packet in a fourth mode. In this application, the terminal device first obtains the first information. The first information includes the processing manner of the application data packet in the fourth mode. Therefore, the terminal device knows how to process the data packet in the fourth mode, and further processes the terminal device in the determined processing manner.

Abstract: This embodiments of the application provides a redirection method and a control plane network element to quickly obtain the content requested by a terminal device. The method may include obtaining, by a control plane network element, a content transmission request sent from a content server; determining, by the control plane network element based on the content transmission request, a cache node configured to store to-be-transmitted content and an aggregation user plane network element associated with the cache node. The method may also include sending, by the control plane network element, a traffic flow matching parameter to the aggregation user plane network element, where the traffic flow matching parameter is used to match a traffic flow of the to-be-transmitted content and determine a connection used to transmit a matched traffic flow.

Abstract: This application discloses a method for accessing a fixed network and an access gateway network element. The method carried out by an access gateway network element of a fixed network includes: performing a PPPoE negotiation with a terminal, to establish a PPPoE session with the terminal; negotiating a PPPoE authentication mode with the terminal; sending a PPPoE authentication parameter to an authentication service network element of a mobile network, where the PPPoE authentication parameter is used by the authentication service network element to perform PPPoE authentication on the terminal; and receiving a PPPoE authentication result from the authentication service network element, and sending a PPPoE authentication result message to the terminal, where the PPPoE authentication result message includes the PPPoE authentication result. Embodiments of this application are applied to authentication during an access from the mobile network to the fixed network.

Abstract: A method includes processing, by an information sharing network element executed by a processor, a monitoring request received from a content server to determine whether a handed-over-to network supports monitoring information included in the monitoring request. The monitoring information is associated with a terminal that is in one of a first network or a second network and is handed over to the other of the first network or the second network. The method also includes sending, by the information sharing network element, the monitoring information to a mobility management network element in a handed-over-to network based on a determination that the handed-over-to network supports the monitoring information. The monitoring information includes data associated with the terminal in a handed-over-from network.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a network congestion control method, a device, and a system, to dynamically control camping or handover of a user based on a user type, a service type, and a user location, thereby controlling congestion. A network device dynamically configures a grouped RFSP of a user based on information such as access network user plane congestion information without a need to modify subscription information of UE, selects, based on a user type and a service type, different networks/frequency bands/cells to control camping or handover, and instructs, by identifying a cell location, the user to select a frequency, to control congestion or the like.

Abstract: A mobility management processing method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by an SMF network element, a data notification message that includes a PDU session identifier and that is sent by a UPF network element, and determining, based on the PDU session identifier, a session and SSC mode corresponding to the PDU session identifier and/or a service area of the UPF network element, where the UPF network element is a network element that establishes a PDU session corresponding to the PDU session identifier; determining a paging area based on the SSC mode and/or the service area of the UPF network element; and sending a first message including the paging area to an AMF network element, where the first message is used to trigger the AMF network element to page, in the paging area, a terminal that establishes the PDU session by using the UPF network element.

Abstract: A communication method and an apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a target access network device, at least one first packet of a terminal when the terminal is handed over from a source access network device to the target access network device; buffering the at least one first packet; and sending the at least one buffered first packet to the terminal when the target access network device receives a second packet and a third packet from the source access network device, or the target access network device receives one of the second packet and the third packet and does not receive the other one of the second packet and the third packet within a preset period, or the target access network device does not receive the second packet or the third packet within the preset period.

Abstract: A data transmission method, a terminal, and an access-network network element are disclosed. An interface is disposed on a policy client of UE and an operating system or an application layer of the UE. The interface is used to provide the operating system or the application layer with a policy related to the operating system or the application layer, and collect, from the operating system or the application layer, information required for a report. In this way, a dedicated transport channel is implemented by a bottom layer of the UE, reports and policies are transmitted on the dedicated transport channel, and during implementation, a protocol is not coupled with the application layer or the operating system, so that the system is simple to implement.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a data transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment UE, indication information sent by an access node of a cellular access network, where the indication information includes a filtering condition, and the indication information is used to instruct the UE to transmit, by using a wireless local area network WLAN, a traffic flow that meets the filtering condition; determining, by the UE according to the indication information, that a first traffic flow meets the filtering condition; and transmitting, by the UE, the first traffic flow by using the WLAN. Therefore, according to an indication of the access node of the cellular access network, the UE may choose to transmit the traffic flow by using the WLAN, thereby improving data transmission efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a traffic flow splitting method and apparatus. In a process of accessing a 3GPP network by UE, an eNB in the 3GPP network sends a first multiflow aggregation instruction to the UE, to instruct the UE to establish a first multiflow aggregation channel between the UE and the eNB via a non-3GPP network. The UE establishes the first multiflow aggregation channel. The first multiflow aggregation channel is used for transmitting a part of data in a downlink traffic flow for the UE, where the part of data is offloaded to the non-3GPP network for transmission, and other data in the downlink traffic flow is offloaded to a 3GPP channel for transmission. In the method, different data packets in a same traffic flow can be simultaneously transmitted in the 3GPP network and the non-3GPP network.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an identity information processing method, a database control system, a service capability exposure function, and a home subscriber server, so as to dynamically establish a correspondence between external identity information and intra-network identity information, thereby simplifying an operation process of establishing the correspondence. Abstract: The present invention pertains to the field of Internet technologies, and discloses a method for establishing a network connection. The method includes: establishing a user plane connection to a terminal, where the terminal accesses a first WLAN; receiving, by using the established user plane connection, a connection selection request sent by the terminal, where the connection selection request includes connection selection information; determining, according to the connection selection information in the connection selection request, a service network selected by the terminal; and establishing a connection between the terminal and the service network selected by the terminal. In this way, the terminal can connect to different service networks, so that a network connection manner becomes more flexible, interaction between the terminal and a gateway is simplified, and a network connection range is expanded.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides an access method in a wireless communications network. Authentication and authorization functions of a 3GPP AAA server for a non-3GPP access network can be integrated into a mobility management network element. Therefore, after UE accesses the non-3GPP access network, a non-3GPP access gateway may select the mobility management network element that supports the authentication and authorization functions for the non-3GPP access network as a target mobility management network element, and request the target mobility management network element to perform authentication and authorization for the UE. After authentication and authorization are performed for the UE, the non-3GPP access gateway may select a P-GW for the UE, and set up a PDN connection between the non-3GPP access gateway and the selected P-GW for the UE.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application disclose a method for accessing a local network, and a related device, so that a user equipment can simultaneously access an operator network and a local network. The method in the embodiments of the present application includes: receiving, by an MME, an access request of user equipment UE that is sent by an base station eNB, where the access request carries access information of the UE; determining, according to the access information of the UE, a first local gateway corresponding to the UE; and establishing, for the UE, a user plane bearer that is from the eNB to a gateway C-GW of a core network and that includes the first local gateway used as an intermediate node.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method, a security node network element and a terminal. The method includes: receiving, by a security node network element, a first data packet carrying first user plane data or first control signaling from a terminal, the first data packet is transmitted via a first security connection or a second security connection, the first security connection is used to transmit the first data packet carrying the first user plane data, and the second security connection is used to transmit the first data packet carrying the first control signaling; and sending the first control signaling to a control plane function entity if the first data packet is transmitted via the second security connection. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a security problem existing when control signaling is transmitted between a security node network element and a terminal can be resolved.
