The lens assembly includes a first optically transparent portion configured to cover the camera of the electronic device. The first optically transparent portion extends from a first front optically transparent region having an area bounded by a light-blocking material covering a portion of a front surface of the lens assembly to a first rear optically transparent region having an area bounded by a light-blocking material covering a portion of a rear surface of the lens assembly. The area of the first rear optically transparent region is larger than the area of the first front optically transparent region. The lens assembly further includes an acoustically transparent portion configured to cover the microphone of the electronic device. The acoustically transparent portion includes a water-resistant membrane.
