Patent number: 8462783Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a node device for transferring a message based on MPLS TE tunnels. The main principle of the embodiments is to determine a switching node at which MPLS TE tunnel switching is needed, and to set routing and forwarding information for tunnel switching between different MPLS TE tunnels at the switching node. The switching node switches and transfers message into different MPLS TE tunnels according to the routing and forwarding information.
