    Abstract: A cookware system includes a microwaveable metal collecting pan, configured in a bowl shape with a plurality of elongated slots disposed thereon. The collector pan is positioned in a supporting bowl to catch dripping fluids and to provide a basin to hold water during steam cooking. A food item can be placed inside the pan, which is in turn placed inside the bowl and covered with a lid.
