  • Publication number: 20190306170
Abstract: Systems and methods for adaptive data collection using analytics agents for privileged access management. Embodiments of the invention deploy analytics agents to computer clients and servers at enterprise premises. Analytics agents collect event and contextual data of privileged users, record their computer access activities, and report the collected data to servers of analytics services. Analytics services produce entity behavior models and agent rules, and instruct analytics agents for adaptive data collection and session recording and uploading to the cloud storage. In an embodiment, an analytics agent is able to adjust the data collection scope dynamically and determine the session recording and uploading actions based on event entity behavior models and configured agent rules. Agent rules are automatically pushed to an analytics agent from analytics services and also can be set manually by system administrators.

  • Publication number: 20190116193
Abstract: Methods and systems of risk assessment for network access control through data analytics. An embodiment of the invention employs well-known machine-learning clustering methods to learn normal entity behavior by looking for patterns in the events that stream in continuously. In an embodiment of the invention, normal entity behaviors are represented as clusters of event vectors. An embodiment of the invention evaluates the risk level for a new event of an entity by comparing the event with the entity's profile represented as clusters of event vectors. In an embodiment of the invention, the risk level is associated with a confidence level. Confidence level indicates how well the system knows about the entity. Embodiments of the invention do not need human administration in the process of building entity profile and assessing risk level of events associated with an entity.

  • Publication number: 20190077056
Abstract: A one-step solution casting method for preparing a PVDF-based pyroelectric polymer film is provided, which belongs to the technical field of functional material preparation. The method comprises steps of: treating a substrate with a hydrophilic reagent to obtain a hydrophilically-modified substrate, and then casting the organic solution of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or its copolymer on the hydrophilically-modified substrate. After cured, the as-casted PVDF-based film shows pyroelectricity without undergoing any stretching or poling post-treatment, indicates that the dipoles of the one-step prepared film are aligned. The self-polarization of the prepared film is attributed to a hydrogen bond induced layer-by-layer electrostatic self-assembly growth mechanism. The method is simple, low cost, high efficient, high capability to produce thick and large-area film with smooth morphology and ease to be scalized.

  • Publication number: 20190081968
Abstract: A system and method for assessing the identity fraud risk of an entity's (a user's, computer process's, or device's) behavior within a computer network and then to take appropriate action. The system uses real-time machine learning for its assessment. It records the entity's log-in behavior (conditions at log-in) and behavior once logged in to create an entity profile that helps identify behavior patterns. The system compares new entity behavior with the entity profile to determine a risk score and a confidence level for the behavior. If the risk score and confidence level indicate a credible identity fraud risk at log-in, the system can require more factors of authentication before log-in succeeds. If the system detects risky behavior after log-in, it can take remedial action such as ending the entity's session, curtailing the entity's privileges, or notifying a human administrator.

  • Publication number: 20180186060
Abstract: A method for preparing a pyroelectric polymer film based on a combined process of solution casting and uniaxial stretching is disclosed. The pyroelectric polymer film is firstly prepared by solution casting, afterwards, the casted film is subjected to uniaxial stretching when the film is in a semi-cured state (wet film). Thus a larger stretching ratio (>10) at a lower temperature (even at room temperature) is realized. Without undergoing a further poling process, the as-stretched film does have a fairly good pyroelectric performance. Moreover, the surface of the stretched film is smoother and having less surface defects.

  • Publication number: 20180086893
Abstract: A carbon material-polymer strain sensitive film and its preparation method are disclosed. The carbon material-polymer strain sensitive film includes multiple layers of carbon sensitive films and multiple layers of polymer films, wherein the multiple layers of carbon sensitive films and the multiple layers of polymer films form a multi-layer composite film in sequence through a layer-by-layer assembly process. The preparation method includes steps of: cleaning, processing a hydrophilic treatment and processing a hydrophobic treatment on a rigid substrate in sequence; preparing a carbon material in dispersion solution and a polymer dispersion solution; through a layer-by-layer self-assembly process, growing the polymer and the carbon material in a form of layer-by-layer on the rigid substrate; transferring the composite film from the rigid substrate to a flexible substrate; and pasting two electrodes at two ends of the composite film and encapsulating with a flexible film.
