Abstract: The present invention provides a composite structural element and a method of producing the same, which includes taking a tape formed by alternatively laminating composite layers made of a non-isotropic composite material and interlayers made of an isotropic material as a major component of the structural element, molding into a structural element of a fixed shape for use in industry, and optionally, directly drilling holes on the laminate of the composite layers and the interlayers for connection.

Abstract: A photomask includes a substrate having a transparent substrate, a mask pattern positioned on a surface of the transparent substrate, a transparent electrostatic discharge (ESD) ring positioned on the surface of the transparent substrate and surrounding the mask pattern, a pellicle covering over the mask pattern, and a mounting adhesive used for sticking the pellicle on the transparent electrostatic discharge ring. The transparent electrostatic discharge ring is utilized to examine a binding condition between the pellicle and the transparent substrate and to suppress an electrostatic discharge.

Abstract: A cloth take-up device for a circular knitting machine includes first and second vertical side panels, a cloth-transfer cylinder connected between the vertical side panels adjacent a top side of the vertical side panels, and two impression cylinders connected in parallel between the vertical side panels and peripherally disposed in contact with the cloth-transfer cylinder at two opposite sides for guiding a finished piece of knitted fabric over the cloth-transfer cylinder. Two parallel support arms are respectively pivoted to the vertical side panels. A cloth take-up cylinder is connected between the support arms. A transmission shaft is coupled to a main bevel gear by an auxiliary bevel gear. A gear train is coupled to the main bevel gear by another auxiliary bevel gear, and a belt transmission mechanism is mounted on the second vertical side panel.

Abstract: A night lamp includes a cylindrical member disposed in a body so as to form an annular slot. A board is secured on top of the cylindrical member. Two prongs are secured to the board, a light bulb is connected to the prongs. A cap is slidably engaging with the prongs and has a peripheral wall slidably engaged in the annular slot. A spring biases the cap away from the body so as to shield and protect the prongs and in order to prevent users from getting electric shocks.
