  • Publication number: 20040004463
Abstract: A power-on device for a circuit system. The power-on device detects voltage of batteries, whereby switching power is supplied accordingly. When battery voltage is too low to start the circuit system, an adaptor supplies the circuit system to start and display circuit system states. When battery voltage is high enough to start, the battery supplies the circuit system and is charged until full.

  • Patent number: 6652297
Abstract: A connector covering assembly includes a cover (20), and a base (30) slidably supporting the cover thereon. The cover includes first and second sliding members (23, 25), and a raised shield (24) having a handle (26) thereon. A half portion of the base defines a plurality of openings (31) for receipt of connectors therethrough. An opposite half portion of the base forms a pair of symmetrical elastic members (33, 34). Longitudinal, slightly raised edges of the base generally at opposite sides of the openings and of the elastic members respectively define a first slideway (32) and a second slideway (36). The covering assembly is mounted to the back of a bezel (10) of a computer, with the cover slidably disposed between the base and the bezel.

  • Publication number: 20030126425
Abstract: A voice system for announcing the type of failure when the basic input/output system (BIOS) program in the computer discovers an error during start-up. The voice system includes a pre-recorded voice integrated circuit and a voice output device. The BIOS program tests a plurality of peripheral devices. When errors are found in any peripheral device, a warning signal is sent to the pre-recorded voice integrated circuit. A corresponding error signal message is looked up in the pre-recorded voice integrated circuit and then the error signal message is transferred to the voice output device. A verbal failure message is announced through the voice output device. The error signal message includes all kinds of failures recorded in voice data format.
