  • Publication number: 20100095482
Abstract: A hinge includes a sleeve, two bushings, and a shaft. The sleeve defines a mounting hole and a groove communicating with the mounting hole. Each bushing includes an inserting piece extending on a circumference thereof in an axial direction. A first end of the inserting piece juts out over a first end of the bushing. A second end of the inserting piece and a second end of the bushing together defines a cutout therebetween. The two bushings are received in the mounting hole with the inserting pieces inserted into the groove to fix the two bushings into the mounting hole. The first end of one bushing is engaged with the cutout of the other bushing. Each bushing defines a pivoting hole. The shaft is inserted in the pivoting holes of the two bushings and rotatable in the pivoting holes with respect to the sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20100053866
Abstract: An electronic device includes a display, a main body, a rotating member, and a hinge. The display is slidably mounted to the rotating member. The hinge is mounted between the rotating member and the main body to pivotably mount the rotating member to the main body. The hinge includes a shaft, a first interfering member and a second interfering member retained around the shaft. The first interfering member is fixed on the rotating member, and the second interfering member is fixed on the main body. The first interfering member includes a first side facing the second interfering member. The first side forms a positioning tab. The second interfering member includes a second side facing the first interfering member. The second side defines a recess, configured to allow the positioning tab to be positioned therein.

  • Publication number: 20100050381
Abstract: A hinge includes a rack, a shaft, and an interfering assembly. The interfering assembly includes a first interfering member fixed to the rack, and a second interfering member capable of rotating with the shaft. The first interfering member includes a first end surface. A first tab is formed on the first end surface. Each of two opposite ends of the first tab forms a first slope surface. The second interfering member includes a second end surface. A first recess is defined in the second end surface for receiving the first tab therein. Each of two opposite ends of recess forms a second slope surface. The shaft rotates with respect to the rack. One of the first slope surfaces of the first tab is able to engage with a corresponding one of the two second slope surfaces of the first recess to guide the first tab sliding into the first recess.

  • Publication number: 20100044936
Abstract: A resilient device includes a fixing member defining two sliding holes, two slide members slidably mounted to opposite sides of the fixing member, and a number of elastic members. Each slide member includes a protrusion engagable in a corresponding sliding hole. The fixing member includes at least one receiving portion for receiving the elastic members, and the elastic members are disposed between the slide members and separated by the slide members. Therefore, each elastic member is positioned to resist against the slide members for biasing the slide members.

  • Publication number: 20100027206
Abstract: An electronic device includes a display, a rotating member, a main body, a hinge, and a positioning member. The main body defining a holding groove in a top thereof. The rotating member defines a holding hole. The display is slidably mounted to the rotating member. The hinge includes a first fixed member and a second fixed member rotatable relative to the first fixed member, wherein the second fixed member is held in the holding hole, and the first fixed member is held in the holding groove. The positioning member mounted to the main body, wherein the positioning member comprises a positioning block inserted into the holding groove to secure the first fixed member of the hinge in the holding groove.

  • Publication number: 20090151119
Abstract: A slide hinge is connected a cover to a base of a portable electronic device and has a stationary bracket, two pivot members, a sliding bracket and two torsion springs. The pivot members are mounted rotatably on the sliding bracket and are mounted to the base. The sliding bracket is mounted slidably on the stationary bracket and is mounted to the cover. The torsion springs are connected between the stationary bracket and the sliding bracket and each torsion spring multiple looped segments. The torsion springs with the looped segments provide an excellent resilient force to position the stationary bracket in one edge of the sliding bracket and therefore stably hold the cover in opened or closed positions without inadvertently sliding relative to the base.

  • Publication number: 20090145337
Abstract: A slidable hinge has a stationary leaf and a sliding leaf being respectively mounted to a base and a cover of a portable electronic device. The stationary leaf has at least two guiding grooves singularly formed substantially perpendicularly therethrough in a curved manner. The sliding leaf has at least two guiding elements slidably mounted respectively in the guiding grooves of the stationary leaf. With the guiding elements sliding along the guiding grooves, the sliding leaf slidably rotates relative to the stationary leaf to a perpendicular angle relative to the stationary leaf. Therefore, the portable electronic device as a whole presents a novel posture for adapting developed functions or programs.
